| 2 | Quelli che cercano l’anima mia sien confusi e svergognati; Quelli che prendono piacere nel mio male voltin le spalle, E sieno svergognati. | Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt. |
| 3 | Quelli che dicono: Eia, eia! Voltin le spalle, per ricompensa del vituperio che mi fanno. | Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha. |
| 4 | Rallegrinsi, e gioiscano in te Tutti quelli che ti cercano; E quelli che amano la tua salute Dicano del continuo: Magnificato sia Iddio. | Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. |
