| 1 | 以色列啊，不要 像外邦人 歡喜 快樂；因為 你行邪淫 離棄你的 神，在 各 穀 場上 如妓女喜愛 賞賜。 | Rejoice not, O Israel, for joy, as other people: for thou hast gone a whoring from thy God, thou hast loved a reward upon every cornfloor. |
| 2 | 穀場 和酒醡 都不 夠以色列人使用；新酒 也必缺乏。 | The floor and the winepress shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail in her. |
| 3 | 他們必不得 住 耶和華 的地；以法蓮 卻要歸回 埃及，必在亞述 吃 不潔淨的食物。 | They shall not dwell in the Lord’s land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things in Assyria. |
| 4 | 他們必不 得向耶和華 奠 酒，即便奠酒也不 蒙悅納。他們的祭物 必如居喪者 的食物，凡 吃 的必被玷污；因 他們的食物 只為自己的口腹，必不 奉入 耶和華 的殿。 | They shall not offer wine offerings to the Lord, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices shall be unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their soul shall not come into the house of the Lord. |

| 6 | 看哪，他們逃避 災難；埃及人 必收殮他們的屍首，摩弗人 必葬埋他們的骸骨。他們用銀子 做的美物 上必長 蒺藜；他們的帳棚中 必生荊棘。 | For, lo, they are gone because of destruction: Egypt shall gather them up, Memphis shall bury them: the pleasant places for their silver, nettles shall possess them: thorns shall be in their tabernacles. |
| 7 | 以色列人 必知道 降罰 的日子 臨近，報應 的時候 來到。民說：作先知 的是愚昧；受靈感的 是狂妄，皆因 他們多多 作孽，大 懷怨恨。 | The days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred. |

| 10 | 主說：我遇見 以色列 如葡萄 在曠野；我看見 你們的列祖 如無花果樹 上春季 初熟的果子。他們 卻來到巴力‧毘珥 專拜 那可羞恥的，就成為 可憎惡的，與他們所愛的一樣。 | I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baal–peor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved. |
| 11 | 至於以法蓮人，他們的榮耀 必如鳥 飛去，必不生產，不懷胎，不成孕。 | As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception. |
| 12 | 縱然 養大 兒女，我卻必使他們喪子，甚至不留一個。我離棄 他們，他們就 有禍了。 | Though they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them, that there shall not be a man left: yea, woe also to them when I depart from them! |
| 13 | 我看 以法蓮 如 泰爾 栽 於美地。以法蓮 卻要將自己的兒女 帶出來，交與 行殺戮的人。 | Ephraim, as I saw Tyrus, is planted in a pleasant place: but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer. |
| 14 | 耶和華啊，求你加 給他們─加 甚麼呢？要使 他們 胎 墜 乳 乾。 | Give them, O Lord: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts. |
| 15 | 耶和華說：他們一切的 惡事 都在吉甲；我在那裡 憎惡他們。因 他們所行 的惡，我必從我地 上趕出他們去，不 再 憐愛他們；他們的首領 都 是悖逆的。 | All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters. |
| 16 | 以法蓮 受責罰，根本 枯乾，必不能 結 果，即或 生產，我必殺 他們所生 的愛子。 | Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb. |
| 17 | 我的 神 必棄絕他們，因為 他們不 聽從 他；他們也必 飄流 在列國中。 | My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations. |
