| 1 | 你用 口 吹角吧！敵人如鷹 來攻打 耶和華 的家；因為 這民違背 我的約，干犯 我的律法。 | Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the Lord, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law. |
| 2 | 他們必呼叫 我說：我的 神啊，我們以色列 認識你了。 | Israel shall cry unto me, My God, we know thee. |
| 3 | 以色列 丟棄 良善（或譯：福分）；仇敵 必追逼他。 | Israel hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him. |
| 4 | 他們 立君王，卻不 由我；他們立首領，我卻不 認。他們用金 銀 為自己 製造 偶像，以致 被剪除。 | They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off. |
| 5 | 撒馬利亞啊，耶和華已經丟棄 你的牛犢；我的怒氣 向拜牛犢的人 發作。他們到 幾時 方 能 無罪呢？ | Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off; mine anger is kindled against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency? |

| 7 | 他們所種的 是風，所收的 是暴風；所種的不成 禾稼，就是發苗 也不 結 實；即便 結實，外邦人 必吞吃。 | For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up. |
| 8 | 以色列 被吞吃； 現今 在列國中，好像人不 喜悅 的器皿。 | Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure. |
| 9 | 他們 投奔 亞述，如同獨行的 野驢； 以法蓮 賄買 朋黨。 | For they are gone up to Assyria, a wild ass alone by himself: Ephraim hath hired lovers. |
| 10 | 他們雖 在列邦中 賄買人，現在 我卻要聚集懲罰他們；他們因君王 和首領 所加的重擔 日漸 衰微。 | Yea, though they have hired among the nations, now will I gather them, and they shall sorrow a little for the burden of the king of princes. |
| 11 | 以法蓮 增添 祭壇 取罪；因此，祭壇 使 他 犯罪。 | Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin. |
| 12 | 我為他 寫了 律法 萬條，他卻以為 與他 毫無關涉。 | I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing. |
| 13 | 至於獻 給我的祭物，他們自食 其肉，耶和華 卻不 悅納他們。現在 必記念 他們的罪孽，追討 他們的罪惡；他們 必歸回 埃及。 | They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the Lord accepteth them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt. |
| 14 | 以色列 忘記 造他的主，建造 宮殿；猶大 多造 堅固 城，我卻要降 火 焚燒他的城邑，燒滅 其中的宮殿。 | For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof. |
