| 1 | 以色列啊，你要歸 向 耶和華─你的 神；你是因 自己的罪孽 跌倒了。 | O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. |
| 2 | 當歸 向 耶和華，用 言語禱告他 說：求你除淨 罪孽，悅納 善行；這樣，我們就把嘴唇 的祭代替牛犢 獻上。 | Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. |
| 3 | 我們不 向 亞述 求救，不 騎 埃及的馬，也不 再 對我們手 所 造的 說：你是我們的 神。因為孤兒 在你─耶和華那裡得蒙憐憫。 | Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy. |

| 7 | 曾住 在他蔭下 的必歸回，發旺 如五穀，開花 如葡萄樹。他的香氣 如黎巴嫩 的酒。 | They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon. |
| 8 | 以法蓮必說：我 與偶像 還有 甚麼關涉呢？我─耶和華回答他，也必顧念他。我 如青翠 的松樹；你的果子 從我 而得。 | Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found. |
