| 1 | 以法蓮 吃 風，且追趕 東風，時常 增添 虛謊 和強暴，與 亞述 立 約，把油 送到 埃及。 | Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt. |
| 2 | 耶和華 與 猶大 爭辯，必照雅各 所行的 懲罰他，按他所做的 報應 他。 | The Lord hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him. |
