| 1 | 耶和華 對我 說：「你 取 一個大 牌，拿人 所用的筆（或譯：人常用的字），寫 上『瑪黑珥‧沙拉勒‧哈施‧罷斯』（就是擄掠速臨、搶奪快到的意思）。 | Moreover the Lord said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man’s pen concerning Maher–shalal–hash–baz. |

| 7 | 因此， 主 必使 大 河 翻騰的水 猛然 沖來，就是 亞述 王 和 他所有的 威勢，必漫 過 一切的 水道，漲 過 兩 岸； | Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks: |
| 8 | 必沖入 猶大，漲溢 氾濫， 直到 頸項。以馬內利啊， 他展開 翅膀，遍滿 你的地。」 | And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel. |

| 12 | 「這 百姓 說 同謀背叛，你們不要 說 同謀背叛。 他們所怕的，你們不要 怕，也不要 畏懼。 | Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. |
| 13 | 但要尊 萬軍 之耶和華 為聖，以他為 你們所當怕的， 所當畏懼的。 | Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. |
| 14 | 他必作 為聖所，卻向以色列 兩 家 作絆腳的 石頭，跌人的 磐石；向耶路撒冷 的居民 作為圈套 和網羅。 | And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. |
| 15 | 許多人 必在其上 絆腳 跌倒，而且跌碎，並陷入網羅，被纏住。」 | And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. |

| 18 | 看哪，我 與耶和華 所 給 我 的兒女，就是從 住 在錫安 山 萬軍 之耶和華來的，在以色列中 作為預兆 和奇蹟。 | Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion. |
| 19 | 有人對你們 說：「當求問 那些交鬼的 和 行巫術的，就是聲音綿蠻，言語微細的。」你們便回答說：「百姓 不當 求問自己的 神嗎？豈可為 活人求問 死人呢？」 | And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? |
| 20 | 人當以訓誨 和法度為標準；他們所說的，若 不 與此相符， 必不 得見晨光。 | To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. |
