| 2 | 有人告訴 大衛 家 說：「亞蘭 與 以法蓮 已經同盟。」王的心 和百姓 的心 就都跳動，好像林中 的樹 被 風 吹動一樣。 | And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind. |

| 4 | 對他 說：『你要謹慎 安靜，不要 因亞蘭 王利汛 和利瑪利 的兒子 這 兩個 冒煙的 火把 頭 所發的烈 怒 害怕，也不要 心裡 膽怯。 | And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah. |
| 5 | 因為 亞蘭 和以法蓮，並利瑪利 的兒子，設 惡謀 害你， | Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying, |
| 6 | 說：我們 可以上去 攻擊猶大，擾亂它，攻破它，在其中 立 他比勒 的兒子 為王。 | Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal: |
| 7 | 所以主 耶和華 如此 說：這所謀的必立 不住，也不得 成就。 | Thus saith the Lord God, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass. |
| 8 | 原來 亞蘭 的首城 是大馬士革；大馬士革 的首領 是利汛。（六十 五 年 之內，以法蓮 必然破壞，不再成為國民。） | For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people. |
| 9 | 以法蓮 的首城 是撒馬利亞；撒馬利亞 的首領 是利瑪利 的兒子。你們若是 不 信，定然 不得 立穩。』」 | And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established. |
| 10 | 耶和華 又 曉諭 亞哈斯 說： | Moreover the Lord spake again unto Ahaz, saying, |
| 11 | 「你 向 耶和華─你的 神 求 一個兆頭：或求 顯在深處，或 求顯在高處。」 | Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. |
| 12 | 亞哈斯 說：「我不 求；我不 試探 耶和華。」 | But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord. |
| 13 | 以賽亞說：「大衛 家啊，你們當 聽！你們 使人 厭煩 豈算 小事，還要 使我的 神 厭煩嗎？ | And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also? |
| 14 | 因此，主 自己 要給 你們 一個兆頭， 必有童女 懷孕 生 子，給他起名 叫 以馬內利（就是 神與我們同在的意思）。 | Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. |
| 15 | 到他曉得 棄 惡 擇 善的時候，他必吃 奶油 與蜂蜜。 | Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good. |
| 16 | 因為 在這孩子 還不曉得 棄 惡 擇 善 之先，你 所 憎惡的 那二 王 之地 必致見棄。 | For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings. |
| 17 | 耶和華 必使 亞述 王 攻擊你的日子臨 到你 和 你的百姓，並 你的父 家，自從 以法蓮 離開 猶大以來，未曾 有 這樣的 日子。 | The Lord shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father’s house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria. |
| 18 | 「 那 時，耶和華 要發嘶聲，使埃及 江河 源頭 的 蒼蠅 和亞述 地 的 蜂子飛來； | And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria. |
| 19 | 都 必飛來，落 在荒涼的 谷內、磐石 的穴裡，和一切 荊棘籬笆中，並一切的 草場上。 | And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes. |
| 20 | 「那 時，主 必用大河 外 賃 的剃頭刀，就是亞述 王，剃去 頭髮 和腳上 的毛，並要 剃淨 鬍鬚。 | In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard. |
| 21 | 「 那 時，一個人 要養活 一隻母牛犢，兩隻 母綿羊； | And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep; |
| 22 | 因為出的 奶 多，他就得吃 奶油， 在境 內 所剩的 人都 要吃 奶油 與蜂蜜。 | And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land. |
| 23 | 「從前， 凡 種一千 棵葡萄樹、值銀一千 舍客勒 的地方，到 那 時 必 長荊棘 和蒺藜。 | And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns. |
| 24 | 人上那裡 去，必帶弓 箭，因為 遍 地 滿了 荊棘 和蒺藜。 | With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns. |
| 25 | 所有 用鋤刨 挖 的 山地，你因怕 荊棘 和蒺藜，不敢 上那裡 去；只可成了 放 牛之處，為羊 踐踏之地。」 | And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle. |
