| 1 | 禍哉！那些設立 不義 之律例 的和記錄 奸詐 之判語的， | Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; |
| 2 | 為要屈 枉 窮乏人，奪去 我民中 困苦人 的理，以寡婦 當作 擄物，以 孤兒 當作掠物。 | To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless! |
| 3 | 到降罰 的日子，有災禍 從遠方 臨到，那時，你們怎樣 行呢？你們向 誰 逃奔 求救呢？你們的榮耀（或譯：財寶）存留 何處呢？ | And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory? |
| 4 | 他們只得 屈身 在被擄的人 以下，仆倒 在被殺的人 以下。雖然 如此，耶和華 的怒氣 還未 轉消；他的手 仍 伸不縮。 | Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. |

| 6 | 我要打發他 攻擊褻瀆的 國民，吩咐他 攻擊 我所惱怒 的百姓，搶 財為擄物，奪 貨為掠物，將他們 踐踏，像街上 的泥土一樣。 | I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. |
| 7 | 然而，他 不是 這樣 的意思；他心 也不 這樣 打算。他心裡 倒 想毀滅，剪除 不 少的 國。 | Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few. |
| 8 | 他說：我的臣僕 豈不 都是 王嗎？ | For he saith, Are not my princes altogether kings? |
| 9 | 迦勒挪 豈不 像迦基米施嗎？哈馬 豈 不 像亞珥拔嗎？撒馬利亞 豈 不 像大馬士革嗎？ | Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus? |
| 10 | 我手 已經搆到 有偶像 的國；這些國雕刻的偶像 過於耶路撒冷 和撒馬利亞的偶像。 | As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria; |
| 11 | 我怎樣 待 撒馬利亞 和其中的偶像，豈不 照樣 待 耶路撒冷 和其中的偶像嗎？ | Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols? |
| 12 | 主 在錫安 山 和耶路撒冷 成就 他一切 工作 的時候，主說：「我必罰 亞述 王 自大 的心 和 他高傲 眼目 的榮耀。」 | Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks. |
| 13 | 因為 他說：我所成就的 事是靠我手 的能力 和我的智慧，我本 有聰明。我挪移 列國 的地界，搶奪 他們所積蓄的財寶；並且我像勇士，使坐寶座的 降為卑。 | For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man: |
| 14 | 我的手 搆到 列國 的財寶，好像人搆到鳥窩；我 也得了 全 地，好像人拾起 所棄的 雀蛋。沒有 動 翅膀的；沒有張 嘴的，也沒有鳴叫的。 | And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped. |
| 15 | 斧 豈可向 用斧 砍木的 自誇呢？鋸 豈可 向 用鋸的 自大呢？好比棍 掄起 那舉棍的，好比杖 舉起 那非 木的人。 | Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood. |
| 16 | 因此，主─萬軍 之耶和華 必使 亞述王的肥壯人 變為瘦弱，在他的榮華 之下 必有火 著起， 如同焚燒一樣。 | Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire. |
| 17 | 以色列 的光 必 如火；他的聖者 必如火焰。在一 日之間，將亞述王的荊棘 和蒺藜 焚燒 淨盡； | And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day; |
| 18 | 又將他樹林 和肥田 的榮耀 全然 燒盡，好像 拿軍旗的 昏過去一樣。 | And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth. |
| 19 | 他林中 剩下的 樹 必 稀少，就是孩子 也能寫其數。 | And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them. |
| 20 | 到 那 日，以色列 所剩下的 和雅各 家 所逃脫的，不 再 倚靠 那擊打他們的，卻要誠實 倚靠 耶和華─以色列 的聖者。 | And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. |
| 21 | 所剩下的，就是雅各 家所剩下的，必歸 回 全能的 神。 | The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. |
| 22 | 以色列啊，你的百姓 雖多 如海 沙，惟有剩下的 歸回。原來滅絕的事 已定，必有公義施行，如水漲溢。 | For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness. |
| 23 | 因為 主─萬軍 之耶和華 在全 地 之中 必成就 所定規 的結局。 | For the Lord God of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land. |
| 24 | 所以，主─萬軍 之耶和華 如此 說：「住 錫安 我的百姓啊，亞述 王雖然用棍 擊打你，又照埃及 的樣子 舉 杖 攻擊你，你卻不要 怕他。 | Therefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. |
| 25 | 因為 還有 一點 點時候，向你們發的忿恨 就要完畢，我的怒氣 要向他發作，使他滅亡。 | For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction. |
| 26 | 萬軍 之耶和華 要興起 鞭 來攻擊他，好像在俄立 磐石 那裡殺戮 米甸人一樣。耶和華的杖 要向 海伸出，把杖舉起，像在埃及 一樣。 | And the Lord of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt. |
| 27 | 到 那 日，亞述王的重擔 必離開 你的肩頭；他的軛 必離開 你的頸項；那軛 也必因 肥壯 的緣故撐斷（或譯：因膏油的緣故毀壞）。」 | And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. |
| 28 | 亞述王來 到 亞葉，經過 米磯崙，在密抹安 放 輜重。 | He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages: |
| 29 | 他們過了 隘口，在迦巴 住宿。拉瑪人 戰兢；掃羅 的基比亞 人逃跑。 | They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gibeah of Saul is fled. |
| 30 | 迦琳的居民（原文是女子）哪，要高 聲呼喊！萊煞人哪，須聽！哀哉！困苦的 亞拿突啊。 | Lift up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth. |
| 31 | 瑪得米那 人躲避；基柄 的居民 逃遁。 | Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee. |
| 32 | 當 那日，亞述王要在挪伯 歇兵，向錫安 女子 的山─就是耶路撒冷 的山─掄 手攻他。 | As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand against the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem. |
| 33 | 看哪，主─萬軍 之耶和華 以驚嚇 削去 樹枝；長 高的 必被砍下，高大的 必被伐倒。 | Behold, the Lord, the Lord of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled. |
| 34 | 稠密 的樹林，他要用鐵器 砍下；黎巴嫩 的樹木必被大能者 伐倒。 | And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one. |
