| 1 | 從耶西 的本（原文是丕）必發 一條；從他根 生的枝子 必結果實。 | And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: |
| 2 | 耶和華 的靈 必住 在他身上，就是使他有智慧 和聰明 的靈，謀略 和能力 的靈，知識 和敬畏 耶和華 的靈。 | And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; |
| 3 | 他必以敬畏 耶和華 為樂；行審判 不 憑眼 見，斷是非 也不憑 耳 聞； | And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: |
| 4 | 卻要以公義 審判 貧窮人，以正直 判斷 世上 的謙卑人，以口中 的杖 擊打 世界，以嘴裡 的氣 殺戮 惡人。 | But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. |
| 5 | 公義 必當 他的腰 帶；信實 必當他脅下 的帶子。 | And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. |
| 6 | 豺狼 必與 綿羊羔 同居，豹子 與 山羊羔 同臥；少壯獅子 與牛犢 並肥畜 同群；小 孩子 要牽引 牠們。 | The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. |
| 7 | 牛 必與熊 同食；牛犢 必與小熊同 臥；獅子 必吃 草，與牛一樣。 | And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. |
| 8 | 吃奶的 孩子必玩耍 在 虺蛇 的洞口；斷奶的 嬰兒必按 手 在 毒蛇 的穴上。 | And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den. |
| 9 | 在 我聖 山的遍處，這一切都不 傷人，不 害物；因為認識 耶和華 的知識 要充滿 遍地，好像水 充滿 洋海一般。 | They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. |
| 10 | 到 那 日，耶西 的根 立 作萬民 的大旗；外邦人 必尋求 他，他安息之所 大有 榮耀。 | And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. |
| 11 | 當 那 日，主 必 二次 伸手 救回 自己百姓 中所 餘剩的，就是在亞述、埃及、巴忒羅、古實、以攔、示拿、哈馬，並眾海 島 所剩下的。 | And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. |
| 12 | 他必向列國 豎立 大旗，招回 以色列 被趕散的人，又從地 的四 方 聚集 分散的 猶大人。 | And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. |
| 13 | 以法蓮 的嫉妒 就必消散；擾害 猶大 的必被剪除。以法蓮 必不 嫉妒 猶大，猶大 也不 擾害 以法蓮。 | The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim. |

| 15 | 耶和華 必使 埃及 海 汊 枯乾，掄 手 用暴熱的 風使 大河 分為 七 條，令人過去 不致濕腳。 | And the Lord shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod. |
