| 1 | 耶和華 說：「到那 時，人必將 猶大 王 的骸骨 和 他首領 的骸骨、 祭司 的骸骨、 先知 的骸骨，並 耶路撒冷 居民 的骸骨，都從墳墓 中取出來， | At that time, saith the Lord, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves: |
| 2 | 拋散 在日頭、月亮，和天上 眾 星之下，就是他們從前所 喜愛、所 事奉、所 隨 從、所 求問、所 敬拜的。這些骸骨不 再收殮，不 再葬埋，必在 地 面 上成為 糞土； | And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth. |

| 5 | 這 耶路撒冷 的民，為何 恆久 背道呢？他們守定 詭詐，不肯 回頭。 | Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return. |
| 6 | 我留心聽，聽見 他們說 不 正直的話。無 人 悔改 惡行，說：我做 的是甚麼呢？他們各人 轉奔 己路，如馬 直闖 戰場。 | I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle. |
| 7 | 空中 的鸛鳥 知道 來去的定期；斑鳩 燕子 與白鶴 也守候 當來 的時令；我的百姓 卻不 知道 耶和華 的法則。 | Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the Lord. |
| 8 | 你們怎麼 說：我們 有智慧，耶和華 的律法 在我們這裡？ 看哪，文士 的假 筆 舞弄 虛假。 | How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain. |
| 9 | 智慧人 慚愧，驚惶，被擒拿； 他們棄掉 耶和華 的話，心裡 還有甚麼 智慧呢？ | The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the Lord; and what wisdom is in them? |
| 10 | 所以 我必將 他們的妻子 給 別人，將他們的田地 給別人為業；因為 他們從最小的 到 至大的 都 一味地 貪婪，從先知 到 祭司 都 行事 虛謊。 | Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. |
| 11 | 他們輕輕忽忽地 醫治 我百姓 的損傷，說：平安了！平安了！其實沒有 平安。 | For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. |
| 12 | 他們行 可憎的事 知道慚愧嗎？不然，他們毫 不 慚愧，也不 知 羞恥。因此 他們必在仆倒的人中 仆倒；我向他們討罪 的時候，他們必致跌倒。這是耶和華 說的。 | Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the Lord. |
| 13 | 耶和華 說：我必使他們全然 滅絕；葡萄樹上 必沒有 葡萄，無花果樹上 必沒有 果子，葉子 也必枯乾。我所賜 給他們的，必離開他們過去。 | I will surely consume them, saith the Lord: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them. |
| 14 | 我們 為何 靜坐不動呢？我們當聚集，進 入 堅固 城，在那裡 靜默不言；因為 耶和華─我們的 神 使我們靜默不言，又將苦膽 水 給我們喝，都因 我們得罪了 耶和華。 | Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for the Lord our God hath put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the Lord. |
| 15 | 我們指望 平安，卻得不著 好處；指望痊癒 的時候，不料，受了驚惶。 | We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of health, and behold trouble! |
| 16 | 聽見 從但 那裡敵人的馬 噴鼻氣，他的壯 馬發嘶聲，全 地 就都震動；因為他們來 吞滅 這地 和其上所有的，吞滅這城 與其中 的居民。 | The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein. |
| 17 | 看哪，我必使 毒蛇 到你們中間，是 不 服法術的，必咬 你們。這是耶和華 說的。 | For, behold, I will send serpents, cockatrices, among you, which will not be charmed, and they shall bite you, saith the Lord. |
| 18 | 我有 憂愁，願能自慰；我心 在我裡面 發昏。 | When I would comfort myself against sorrow, my heart is faint in me. |
| 19 | 聽啊，是我百姓 的哀 聲 從極遠 之地而來，說：耶和華 不 在錫安嗎？ 錫安 的王 不 在其中麼？耶和華說：他們為甚麼 以雕刻的偶像 和外邦 虛無 的神惹我發怒呢？ | Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: Is not the Lord in Zion? is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities? |
| 20 | 麥秋 已過，夏令 已完，我們 還未 得救！ | The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. |
| 21 | 先知說：因 我百姓 的損傷，我也受了損傷。我哀痛，驚惶 將我抓住。 | For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me. |
| 22 | 在基列 豈沒有 乳香呢？ 在那裡 豈沒有 醫生呢？我百姓 為何 不 得痊癒呢？ | Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered? |
