| 1 | 耶和華 的話 臨到 耶利米 說： | The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, |
| 2 | 「你當站 在耶和華 殿 的門口，在那裡 宣傳 這 話 說：你們進 這些 門 敬拜 耶和華 的一切 猶大人，當聽 耶和華 的話。 | Stand in the gate of the Lord’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the Lord, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the Lord. |
| 3 | 萬軍 之耶和華─以色列的 神 如此 說：你們改正 行動 作為，我就使你們 在這 地方 仍然居住。 | Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. |
| 4 | 你們 不要 倚靠 虛謊 的話，說：『這些是 耶和華 的殿，是耶和華 的殿，是耶和華 的殿！』 | Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the Lord, The temple of the Lord, The temple of the Lord, are these. |
| 5 | 「 你們若 實在 改正 行動 作為， 在人 和 鄰舍 中間 誠然 施行 公平， | For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour; |
| 6 | 不 欺壓 寄居的 和孤兒 寡婦，在這 地方 不 流 無辜人 的血，也不 隨 從 別 神 陷害 自己， | If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: |
| 7 | 我就使你們 在這 地方 仍然居住，就是我 古時 所 賜 給你們列祖 的地，直到 永遠。 | Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever. |
| 8 | 「看哪，你們 倚靠 虛謊 無 益 的話。 | Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. |
| 9 | 你們偷盜，殺害，姦淫，起假 誓，向巴力 燒香，並隨從 素不 認識 的別 神， | Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; |
| 10 | 且來到 這 稱為 我名 下 的殿，在我面前 敬拜；又說：『我們可以自由了。』你們這樣的舉動 是要行 那些 可憎的事嗎？ | And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? |
| 11 | 這 稱為 我名 下 的殿 在你們眼中 豈可看為 賊 窩嗎？ 我 都 看見了。這是耶和華 說的。 | Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the Lord. |
| 12 | 你們 且 往 示羅 去， 就是 我先前 立為 我名 的居所，察看 我因 這百姓 以色列 的罪惡 向那地 所 行的如何。」 | But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel. |
| 13 | 耶和華 說：「現在 因 你們行了 這 一切 的事，我也從早起來 警戒 你們，你們卻不 聽從；呼喚 你們，你們卻不 答應。 | And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the Lord, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not; |
| 14 | 所以我要向這 稱 為 我名下、你們 所 倚靠 的殿，與我所 賜 給你們 和你們列祖 的地 施行，照我從前向示羅 所 行的一樣。 | Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh. |
| 15 | 我必將你們 從 我眼前 趕出，正如 趕出 你們的眾 弟兄，就是 以法蓮 的一切 後裔。」 | And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim. |
| 16 | 「所以，你 不要 為 這 百姓 祈禱；不要 為他們 呼求 禱告，也不要 向我 為他們祈求，因 我 不 聽允 你。 | Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee. |
| 17 | 他們 在猶大 城邑中 和耶路撒冷 街上 所 行的，你沒有 看見嗎？ | Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? |
| 18 | 孩子 撿 柴，父親 燒 火，婦女 摶 麵 做 餅，獻給天 后，又向別 神 澆 奠祭， 惹我發怒。」 | The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. |
| 19 | 耶和華 說：「他們 豈是惹我 發怒呢？不是 自己惹禍，以致 臉 上慚愧嗎？」 | Do they provoke me to anger? saith the Lord: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces? |
| 20 | 所以 主 耶和華 如此 說：「看哪，我必將我的怒氣 和忿怒 傾 在 這 地方的 人 和 牲畜身上，並 田野 的樹木 和 地 裡的出產上，必如火著起，不能 熄滅。」 | Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched. |
| 21 | 萬軍 之耶和華─以色列的 神 如此 說：「你們將燔祭 加 在 平安祭上，吃 肉吧！ | Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh. |
| 22 | 因為 我將 你們列祖 從埃及 地 領出來 的那日， 燔祭 平安祭 的事 我並沒有 提說，也沒有 吩咐 他們。 | For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices: |
| 23 | 我只 吩咐 他們 這 一件 說：『你們當聽從 我的話，我就作 你們的 神，你們 也作 我的 子民。你們行 我所 吩咐 的一切 道，就可以 得福。』 | But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. |
| 24 | 他們卻不 聽從，不 側 耳而聽，竟隨從 自己的計謀 和頑梗 的惡 心， 向後 不 向前。 | But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward. |
| 25 | 自從 你們列祖 出 埃及 地 的那日，直到 今 日，我差遣 我的僕人 眾 先知 到你們那裡去，每日 從早起來 差遣他們。 | Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them: |
| 26 | 你們卻不 聽從，不 側 耳而聽，竟硬著 頸項 行惡，比你們列祖更甚。 | Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers. |
| 27 | 「你要將 這 一切的 話 告訴 他們，他們卻不 聽從；呼喚 他們，他們卻不 答應。 | Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee. |
| 28 | 你要對他們 說：這 就是 不 聽從 耶和華─他們 神 的話、不 受 教訓 的國民；從他們的口中，誠實 滅絕了。」 | But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth. |
| 29 | 耶路撒冷啊，要剪 髮 拋棄，在 淨光的高處 舉 哀；因為 耶和華 丟掉 離棄了 惹他忿怒 的世代。 | Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the Lord hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath. |
| 30 | 耶和華 說：「 猶大 人 行 我眼中 看為惡的事，將可憎之物 設立 在稱 為 我名 下的殿中，污穢這殿。 | For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the Lord: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it. |
| 31 | 他們在 欣嫩 子 谷 建築 陀斐特 的邱壇，好在火中 焚燒自己的 兒 女。這 並不是 我所吩咐的，也不是 我心 所起的意。」 | And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart. |
| 32 | 耶和華 說：「 因此，日子 將到，這地方不 再 稱為 陀斐特 和欣嫩 子 谷，反倒 稱為殺戮 谷。因為要在陀斐特 葬埋屍首，甚至無 處可葬； | Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place. |
| 33 | 並且這 百姓 的屍首 必給空中 的飛鳥 和地上 的野獸 作 食物，並無人 鬨趕。 | And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away. |
| 34 | 那時，我必使猶大 城邑中 和耶路撒冷 街上，歡喜 和快樂 的聲音，新郎 和新婦 的聲音，都止息了，因為 地 必成為 荒場。」 | Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate. |
