| 1 | 論亞捫 人。耶和華 如此 說：以色列 沒有 兒子嗎？ 沒有 後嗣嗎？瑪勒堪 為何 得 迦得之地為業呢？屬他的民 為何住 其中的城邑呢？ | Concerning the Ammonites, thus saith the Lord; Hath Israel no sons? hath he no heir? why then doth their king inherit Gad, and his people dwell in his cities? |
| 2 | 耶和華 說： 日子 將到，我必使人聽見 打仗 的喊聲，是攻擊 亞捫人 拉巴的喊聲。拉巴要成為 亂 堆；屬她的鄉村（原文是女子）要被火 焚燒。先前得以色列地為業的，此時以色列 倒要得他們的地為業。這是耶和華 說的。 | Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites; and it shall be a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Israel be heir unto them that were his heirs, saith the Lord. |

| 8 | 底但 的居民哪，要轉身 逃跑，住 在深密處；因為 我向以掃 追討 的時候，必使災殃 臨 到他。 | Flee ye, turn back, dwell deep, O inhabitants of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time that I will visit him. |
| 9 | 摘葡萄的 若 來到 他那裡，豈不 剩下 些葡萄呢？盜賊 若 夜間而來，豈不毀壞 直到夠了呢？ | If grapegatherers come to thee, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? if thieves by night, they will destroy till they have enough. |
| 10 | 我 卻 使 以掃 赤露，顯出 他的隱密處；他不 能 自藏。他的後裔、弟兄、鄰舍 盡都滅絕；他也歸於無有。 | But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his seed is spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he is not. |

| 12 | 耶和華 如此 說：「 原 不 該 喝 那杯 的一定要 喝。你 能盡 免刑罰嗎？你必不能 免， 一定要 喝！」 | For thus saith the Lord; Behold, they whose judgment was not to drink of the cup have assuredly drunken; and art thou he that shall altogether go unpunished? thou shalt not go unpunished, but thou shalt surely drink of it. |
| 13 | 耶和華 說：「 我指著自己 起誓，波斯拉 必 令人 驚駭、羞辱、咒詛，並且荒涼。她的一切 城邑 必變為 永遠的 荒場。」 | For I have sworn by myself, saith the Lord, that Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes. |
| 14 | 我從 耶和華 那裡聽見 信息，並有使者 被差往 列國去，說：你們聚集 來 攻擊以東，要起來 爭戰。 | I have heard a rumour from the Lord, and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen, saying, Gather ye together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle. |

| 16 | 住 在山 穴中 據守 山 頂的啊，論到你的威嚇，你因心中 的狂傲 自欺；你雖 如大鷹 高高 搭窩，我卻從那裡 拉下你來。這是耶和華 說的。 | Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, and the pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the Lord. |
| 17 | 以東 必令人 驚駭；凡 經過 的人就受驚駭，又因她 一切的 災禍 嗤笑。 | Also Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof. |
| 18 | 耶和華 說：必無 人 住 在那裡，也無 人 在其中 寄居，要像所多瑪、蛾摩拉，和鄰近 的城邑傾覆的時候一樣。 | As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the Lord, no man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it. |
| 19 | 仇敵必像獅子 從約旦河 邊的叢林 上來，攻擊 堅固的 居所。 轉眼之間，我要使以東人逃跑，離開這地。誰 蒙揀選，我就派 誰治理這地。 誰 能比我呢？誰 能給我定規日期呢？有何 牧人 能 在我面前 站立得住呢？ | Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me? |
| 20 | 你們要聽 耶和華 攻擊 以東 所 說 的謀略 和他攻擊 提幔 居民 所 定 的旨意。仇敵定要 將他們群眾 微弱的 拉去，定要 使他們的 居所 荒涼。 | Therefore hear the counsel of the Lord, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them. |
| 21 | 因他們仆倒 的聲音，地 就震動。人在紅 海 那裡必聽見 呼喊 的聲音。 | The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea. |
| 22 | 仇敵必如大鷹 飛 起，展開 翅膀 攻擊 波斯拉。到那 日，以東 的勇士 心中疼痛 如 臨產 的婦人。 | Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs. |
| 23 | 論大馬士革。哈馬 和亞珥拔 蒙羞，因 他們聽見 凶惡的 信息 就消化了。海上 有憂愁，不 得 平靜。 | Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet. |
| 24 | 大馬士革 發軟，轉身 逃跑。戰兢 將她捉住；痛苦 憂愁 將她抓住，如產難的婦人一樣。 | Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. |

| 26 | 她的少年人 必仆倒 在街上；當那 日，一切 兵 丁 必默默無聲。這是萬軍 之耶和華 說的。 | Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the Lord of hosts. |
| 27 | 我必在大馬士革 城中 使火 著起，燒滅 便哈達 的宮殿。 | And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Ben–hadad. |
| 28 | 論巴比倫 王 尼布甲尼撒 所 攻打 的基達 和夏瑣 的諸國。耶和華 如此 說：迦勒底人哪，起來 上 基達 去，毀滅 東方 人。 | Concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon shall smite, thus saith the Lord; Arise ye, go up to Kedar, and spoil the men of the east. |
| 29 | 他們的帳棚 和羊群 都要奪去，將幔子 和一切 器皿，並駱駝 為自己 掠去。人向他們 喊著說：四圍 都有驚嚇。 | Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: they shall take to themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry unto them, Fear is on every side. |
| 30 | 耶和華 說：夏瑣 的居民哪，要逃 奔 遠方，住 在深密處；因為 巴比倫 王 尼布甲尼撒 設 計 謀害你們，起 意 攻擊你們。 | Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the Lord; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you. |
| 31 | 耶和華 說：迦勒底人哪，起來！上 安逸 無慮 的居 民那裡去；他們是 無 門 無 閂、獨自 居住的。 | Arise, get you up unto the wealthy nation, that dwelleth without care, saith the Lord, which have neither gates nor bars, which dwell alone. |
| 32 | 他們的駱駝 必成為 掠物；他們眾多的 牲畜 必成為擄物。我必將剃 周圍 頭髮的人分散 四方（原文是風），使 災殃 從四 圍 臨到他們。這是耶和華 說的。 | And their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter into all winds them that are in the utmost corners; and I will bring their calamity from all sides thereof, saith the Lord. |
| 33 | 夏瑣 必成為 野狗 的住處， 永遠 淒涼；必無 人 住 在那裡，也無 人 在其中 寄居。 | And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, and a desolation for ever: there shall no man abide there, nor any son of man dwell in it. |
| 34 | 猶大 王 西底家 登 基的時候， 耶和華 論 以攔 的話 臨 到 先知 耶利米 說： | The word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, |
| 35 | 「萬軍 之耶和華 如此 說：我 必折斷 以攔人 的弓，就是他們為首 的權力。 | Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might. |
| 36 | 我要使 四 風 從天 的四 方颳來，臨到 以攔人，將他們分散 四方（原文是風）。這 被趕散的 人 沒 有 一國 不 到的。」 | And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come. |
| 37 | 耶和華 說：「我必使 以攔人 在仇敵 和尋索 其命 的人面前 驚惶；我也必使災禍，就是 我的烈 怒 臨 到他們，又必使 刀劍 追殺 他們，直到 將他們 滅盡。 | For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the Lord; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them: |
| 38 | 我要在以攔 設立 我的寶座，從那裡 除滅 君王 和首領。」這是耶和華 說的。 | And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the Lord. |
| 39 | 「 到末後，我還要使 被擄的 以攔人 歸回。這是耶和華 說的。」 | But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the Lord. |
