| 2 | 你們要在萬國中 傳揚 報告，豎立 大旗；要報告，不可 隱瞞，說：巴比倫 被攻取，彼勒 蒙羞，米羅達 驚惶。巴比倫的神像 都蒙羞；她的偶像 都驚惶。 | Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces. |
| 3 | 「因 有一國 從北方 上來 攻擊她， 使 她的地 荒涼， 無人 居住，連人 帶 牲畜 都逃 走了。」 | For out of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast. |

| 6 | 「我的百姓 作了 迷失的 羊，牧人 使他們走差路，使他們轉到 山上。他們從大山 走 到 小山，竟忘了 安歇之處。 | My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace. |
| 7 | 凡 遇見他們的，就把他們吞滅。敵人 說：『我們沒有 罪；因 他們 得罪 那作公義 居所 的耶和華，就是他們列祖 所仰望的 耶和華。』 | All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the Lord, the habitation of justice, even the Lord, the hope of their fathers. |
| 8 | 「我民哪，你們要從巴比倫 中 逃走，從迦勒底人 之地 出去，要 像羊群 前面 走的公山羊。 | Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks. |
| 9 | 因 我 必激動 聯合的 大 國 從北 方 上來 攻擊 巴比倫，他們要擺陣 攻擊她；他必從那裡 被攻取。他們的箭 好像善射 之勇士的箭，一枝也不 徒然 返回。 | For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain. |

| 11 | 搶奪 我產業的啊，你們因 歡喜 快樂，且 像踹穀 撒歡 的母牛犢，又像發嘶聲 的壯馬。 | Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O ye destroyers of mine heritage, because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls; |
| 12 | 你們的母 巴比倫就極其 抱愧，生你們 的必然蒙羞。 她要列在諸國 之末，成為曠野、旱地、沙漠。 | Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert. |
| 13 | 因耶和華 的忿怒，必無人 居住，要 全然 荒涼。凡 經過 巴比倫 的要受驚駭，又因 她所 遭的災殃 嗤笑。 | Because of the wrath of the Lord it shall not be inhabited, but it shall be wholly desolate: every one that goeth by Babylon shall be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues. |
| 14 | 所有 拉 弓的，你們要在 巴比倫 的四圍 擺陣，射箭 攻擊她。不要 愛惜 箭枝，因 她得罪了 耶和華。 | Put yourselves in array against Babylon round about: all ye that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she hath sinned against the Lord. |
| 15 | 你們要在她 四圍 吶喊；她已經投降。外郭 坍塌了，城牆 拆毀了，因為 這是 耶和華 報仇的事。你們要向巴比倫 報仇；她怎樣 待人，也要怎樣待 她。 | Shout against her round about: she hath given her hand: her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for it is the vengeance of the Lord: take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her. |
| 16 | 你們要將巴比倫 撒種 的和收割 時 拿 鐮刀 的都剪除了。他們各人因 怕欺壓的 刀劍，必 歸 回 本族， 逃到 本土。 | Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land. |
| 17 | 「以色列 是打散的 羊，是被獅子 趕出的。首先 是亞述 王 將他吞滅，末後 是 巴比倫 王 尼布甲尼撒 將他的骨頭折斷。」 | Israel is a scattered sheep; the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones. |
| 18 | 所以 萬軍 之耶和華─以色列的 神 如此 說：「我 必罰 巴比倫 王 和 他的地，像 我從前罰 亞述 王一樣。 | Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria. |
| 19 | 我必再領 以色列 回 他的草場，他必在迦密 和巴珊 吃草， 又在以法蓮 山上 和基列 境內得以飽足。」 | And I will bring Israel again to his habitation, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon mount Ephraim and Gilead. |
| 20 | 耶和華 說：「當那 日子、那 時候，雖尋 以色列 的罪孽，一無所有；雖尋 猶大 的罪惡，也無 所見；因為 我所 留下的人，我必赦免。」 | In those days, and in that time, saith the Lord, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve. |
| 21 | 耶和華 說：上去 攻擊 米拉大翁 之地，又 攻擊 比割 的居民。要追 殺 滅盡，照我一切 所 吩咐你 的去行。 | Go up against the land of Merathaim, even against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, saith the Lord, and do according to all that I have commanded thee. |
| 22 | 境內 有打仗 和大 毀滅 的響聲。 | A sound of battle is in the land, and of great destruction. |
| 23 | 全 地 的大錘 何竟 砍斷 破壞？巴比倫 在列國中 何竟 荒涼？ | How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations! |
| 24 | 巴比倫哪，我為你 設下網羅，你 不 知不覺 被纏住。你被尋著，也 被捉住；因為 你與耶和華 爭競。 | I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the Lord. |
| 25 | 耶和華 已經開了 武庫，拿出 他惱恨的 兵器；因為 主─萬軍 之耶和華 在迦勒底人 之地 有 當做的事。 | The Lord hath opened his armoury, and hath brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord God of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans. |
| 26 | 你們要從極遠的邊界 來 攻擊她，開 她的倉廩，將她堆 如 高堆，毀滅淨盡， 絲毫不 留。 | Come against her from the utmost border, open her storehouses: cast her up as heaps, and destroy her utterly: let nothing of her be left. |
| 27 | 要殺 他的一切 牛犢，使他們下去 遭遇殺戮。他們 有禍了，因為 追討 他們的日子 已經來到。 | Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter: woe unto them! for their day is come, the time of their visitation. |
| 28 | （有從巴比倫 之地 逃避 出來的人，在錫安 揚聲 報告 耶和華─我們的 神 報仇，就是為他的殿 報仇。） | The voice of them that flee and escape out of the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the Lord our God, the vengeance of his temple. |
| 29 | 「招集 一切 弓箭手 來攻擊 巴比倫。要在 巴比倫四圍 安營，不要 容 一人逃脫，照著她所做的 報應 她；她怎樣 待人，也要怎樣待 她，因為 她向 耶和華─ 以色列 的聖者 發了狂傲。 | Call together the archers against Babylon: all ye that bend the bow, camp against it round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her: for she hath been proud against the Lord, against the Holy One of Israel. |
| 30 | 所以 她的少年人 必仆倒 在街上。當那 日，一切 兵 丁 必默默無聲。這是耶和華 說的。」 | Therefore shall her young men fall in the streets, and all her men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the Lord. |
| 31 | 主─萬軍 之耶和華 說： 你這狂傲的啊，我與你反對，因為 我追討你 的日子 已經來到。 | Behold, I am against thee, O thou most proud, saith the Lord God of hosts: for thy day is come, the time that I will visit thee. |
| 32 | 狂傲 的必絆跌 仆倒，無人 扶起。我也必使火 在他的城邑中 著起來，將他四圍 所有的 盡行燒滅。 | And the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up: and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all round about him. |
| 33 | 萬軍 之耶和華 如此 說：「以色列 人 和猶大 人 一同 受欺壓；凡 擄掠他們的 都緊緊抓住 他們，不肯 釋放。 | Thus saith the Lord of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go. |
| 34 | 他們的救贖主 大有能力，萬軍 之耶和華 是他的名。他必 伸清 他們的冤，好 使 全地 得平安，並攪擾 巴比倫 的居民。」 | Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon. |
| 35 | 耶和華 說：有刀劍 臨到 迦勒底人 和 巴比倫 的居民，並 她的首領 與 智慧人。 | A sword is upon the Chaldeans, saith the Lord, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise men. |
| 36 | 有刀劍 臨到 矜誇的人，他們就成為愚昧；有刀劍 臨到 她的勇士，他們就驚惶。 | A sword is upon the liars; and they shall dote: a sword is upon her mighty men; and they shall be dismayed. |
| 37 | 有刀劍 臨到 他的馬匹、 車輛，和 其 中 雜族的人民；他們必 像婦女一樣。有刀劍 臨到 她的寶物，就被搶奪。 | A sword is upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that are in the midst of her; and they shall become as women: a sword is upon her treasures; and they shall be robbed. |
| 38 | 有乾旱 臨到 她的眾水，就必乾涸；因為 這是 有雕刻偶像 之地，人因偶像 而顛狂。 | A drought is upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it is the land of graven images, and they are mad upon their idols. |
| 39 | 所以 曠野的走獸 和 豺狼 必住在那裡，鴕鳥 也住 在其中， 永 無 人煙，世世 代代 無人 居住。」 | Therefore the wild beasts of the desert with the wild beasts of the islands shall dwell there, and the owls shall dwell therein: and it shall be no more inhabited for ever; neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation. |
| 40 | 耶和華 說：「必無 人 住 在那裡，也無 人 在其中 寄居，要像我 傾覆 所多瑪、 蛾摩拉，和 鄰近的城邑一樣。 | As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the Lord; so shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein. |
| 41 | 看哪，有一種民 從北方 而來，並有一大 國 和許多 君王 被激動，從地 極來到。 | Behold, a people shall come from the north, and a great nation, and many kings shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. |
| 42 | 他們 拿 弓 和槍，性情殘忍，不 施憐憫；他們的聲音 像海浪 匉訇。巴比倫城（原文是女子）啊，他們騎 馬，都擺隊伍 如上戰場 的人，要攻擊你。 | They shall hold the bow and the lance: they are cruel, and will not shew mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon. |
| 43 | 巴比倫 王 聽見 他們的風聲，手 就發軟，痛苦 將他抓住，疼痛 彷彿產難的婦人。 | The king of Babylon hath heard the report of them, and his hands waxed feeble: anguish took hold of him, and pangs as of a woman in travail. |
| 44 | 「 仇敵必像獅子 從約旦河 邊的叢林 上來，攻擊 堅固的 居所。 轉眼之間，我要使他們逃跑，離開這地。誰 蒙揀選，我就派 誰治理這地。 誰 能比我呢？誰 能給我定規日期呢？有何 牧人 能 在我面前 站立得住呢？ | Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of the strong: but I will make them suddenly run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me? |
| 45 | 你們要聽 耶和華 攻擊 巴比倫 所 說 的謀略 和他攻擊 迦勒底人 之地 所 定 的旨意。仇敵定要 將他們群眾 微弱的 拉去，定要 使他們 的居所 荒涼。 | Therefore hear ye the counsel of the Lord, that he hath taken against Babylon; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitation desolate with them. |
| 46 | 因巴比倫 被取 的聲音，地 就震動，人在列邦 都聽見 呼喊的聲音。」 | At the noise of the taking of Babylon the earth is moved, and the cry is heard among the nations. |
