| 2 | 我們的產業 歸 與外邦人；我們的房屋 歸與外路人。 | Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens. |
| 3 | 我們是 無父的 孤兒；我們的母親 好像寡婦。 | We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers are as widows. |
| 4 | 我們出錢 才得水 喝；我們的柴 是人賣 給我們的。 | We have drunken our water for money; our wood is sold unto us. |
| 5 | 追趕我們的，到了我們的頸項 上；我們疲乏 不得 歇息。 | Our necks are under persecution: we labour, and have no rest. |
| 6 | 我們投降 埃及人 和亞述人，為要得糧 吃飽。 | We have given the hand to the Egyptians, and to the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread. |
| 7 | 我們列祖 犯罪，而今不在了；我們 擔當 他們的罪孽。 | Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities. |
| 8 | 奴僕 轄制 我們，無人 救 我們脫離他們的手。 | Servants have ruled over us: there is none that doth deliver us out of their hand. |
| 9 | 因為 曠野 的刀劍，我們冒著險 才得 糧食。 | We gat our bread with the peril of our lives because of the sword of the wilderness. |
| 10 | 因 飢餓 燥熱，我們的皮膚 就黑 如爐。 | Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine. |
| 11 | 敵人在錫安 玷污 婦人，在猶大 的城邑 玷污處女。 | They ravished the women in Zion, and the maids in the cities of Judah. |
| 12 | 他們吊起 首領 的手，也不 尊敬 老人 的面。 | Princes are hanged up by their hand: the faces of elders were not honoured. |
| 13 | 少年人 扛 磨石，孩童 背木柴，都絆跌了。 | They took the young men to grind, and the children fell under the wood. |
| 14 | 老年人 在城門口 斷絕；少年人 不再作樂。 | The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men from their musick. |
| 15 | 我們心中 的快樂 止息，跳舞 變為 悲哀。 | The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning. |
| 16 | 冠冕 從我們的頭 上落下； 我們犯罪了，我們 有禍了！ | The crown is fallen from our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned! |
| 17 | 這些事 我們心裡 發昏， 我們的眼睛 昏花。 | For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim. |
| 18 | 錫安 山荒涼，野狗（或譯：狐狸）行在 其上。 | Because of the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it. |
| 19 | 耶和華啊，你 存 到永遠；你的寶座 存到萬代。 | Thou, O Lord, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation. |
| 20 | 你為何 永遠 忘記我們？為何許久 離棄我們？ | Wherefore dost thou forget us for ever, and forsake us so long time? |
| 21 | 耶和華啊，求你使我們向你 回轉，我們便得回轉。求你復新 我們的日子，像古時一樣。 | Turn thou us unto thee, O Lord, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old. |
| 22 | 你竟 全然 棄絕我們，向我們 大 發烈怒？ | But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us. |
