| 2 | 錫安 寶貴 的眾子 好比 精金，現在何竟 算為 窯匠 手 所做的 瓦 瓶？ | The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how are they esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter! |
| 3 | 野狗 尚且 把 奶 乳哺 其子，我民 的婦人 倒成為殘忍，好像 曠野 的鴕鳥一般。 | Even the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness. |
| 4 | 吃奶孩子 的舌頭 因乾渴 貼 住 上膛；孩童 求 餅，無人 擘 給他們。 | The tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it unto them. |
| 5 | 素來吃 美好食物的，現今在街上 變為孤寒；素來臥 朱紅褥子的，現今躺臥 糞堆。 | They that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets: they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills. |

| 11 | 耶和華 發怒 成就他所定的，倒出 他的烈 怒；在錫安 使火 著起，燒毀 錫安的根基。 | The Lord hath accomplished his fury; he hath poured out his fierce anger, and hath kindled a fire in Zion, and it hath devoured the foundations thereof. |
| 12 | 地上 的君王 和世上 的居民 都 不 信 敵人 和仇敵 能進 耶路撒冷 的城門。 | The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem. |
| 13 | 這都因她先知 的罪惡 和祭司 的罪孽；他們在城中 流了 義人 的血。 | For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her, |
| 14 | 他們在街上 如瞎子 亂走，又被血 玷污，以致人不 能 摸 他們的衣服。 | They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments. |
| 15 | 人向他們 喊著說： 不潔淨的，躲開，躲開！不要 挨近我！ 他們逃走 飄流的時候，列國中 有人說：他們不可 仍在 這裡寄居。 | They cried unto them, Depart ye; it is unclean; depart, depart, touch not: when they fled away and wandered, they said among the heathen, They shall no more sojourn there. |
| 16 | 耶和華 發怒，將他們分散，不 再 眷顧他們；人不 重看 祭司，也不 厚待 長老。 | The anger of the Lord hath divided them; he will no more regard them: they respected not the persons of the priests, they favoured not the elders. |
| 17 | 我們仰望 人來幫助，以致 眼目 失明，還是枉然；我們所盼望的，竟盼望 一個不能 救人 的國！ | As for us, our eyes as yet failed for our vain help: in our watching we have watched for a nation that could not save us. |
| 18 | 仇敵追趕 我們的腳步像打獵的，以致我們不敢在自己的街上 行走。我們的結局 臨近；我們的日子 滿足； 我們的結局 來到了。 | They hunt our steps, that we cannot go in our streets: our end is near, our days are fulfilled; for our end is come. |
| 19 | 追趕我們的 比空中 的鷹 更快；他們在山 上 追逼我們，在曠野 埋伏，等候我們。 | Our persecutors are swifter than the eagles of the heaven: they pursued us upon the mountains, they laid wait for us in the wilderness. |
| 20 | 耶和華 的受膏者 好比我們鼻中 的氣，在他們的坑中 被捉住；我們曾論到他 說：我們必在他蔭下，在列國中 存活。 | The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the Lord, was taken in their pits, of whom we said, Under his shadow we shall live among the heathen. |

| 22 | 錫安 的民哪，你罪孽的刑罰 受足了，耶和華 必不 使你再 被擄去。以東 的民哪，他必追討 你的罪孽，顯露 你的罪惡。 | The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; he will no more carry thee away into captivity: he will visit thine iniquity, O daughter of Edom; he will discover thy sins. |
