| 1 | 亞蘭 王 的元帥 乃縵 在他主人 面前 為 尊 為大，因 耶和華 曾藉他 使 亞蘭人 得勝；他又是 大能 的勇士，只是長了大痲瘋。 | Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the Lord had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper. |
| 2 | 先前亞蘭人 成群地 出去，從以色列 國 擄了 一個小 女子，這女子就服事 乃縵 的妻。 | And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman’s wife. |
| 3 | 她對 主母 說：「巴不得 我主人 去見 撒馬利亞 的 先知， 必能治好 他 的大痲瘋。」 | And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy. |
| 4 | 乃縵進去，告訴 他主人 說，以色列 國 的 女子 如此 如此 說。 | And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel. |
| 5 | 亞蘭 王 說：「你可以去，我也達 信 於 以色列 王。」於是乃縵 帶 銀子 十 他連得，金子 六 千舍客勒，衣裳 十 套，就去了； | And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment. |
| 6 | 且帶 信 給 以色列 王，信上說：「 我打發 臣僕 乃縵 去見你， 你 接到 這 信，就要治好他 的大痲瘋。」 | And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have therewith sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy. |
| 7 | 以色列 王 看了 信 就撕裂 衣服，說：「我豈是 神，能使人死 使人活呢？這人 竟 打發 人來，叫我治好 他 的大痲瘋。 你們看一看，這人 何以 尋隙 攻擊我呢？」 | And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me. |
| 8 | 神 人 以利沙 聽見 以色列 王 撕裂 衣服，就打發 人去見 王，說：「你為甚麼 撕了 衣服呢？可 使那人到我 這裡來，他就知道 以色列 中有 先知了。」 | And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel. |
| 9 | 於是，乃縵 帶著車 馬 到了 以利沙 的家，站在 門前。 | So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha. |
| 10 | 以利沙 打發 一個使者，對 乃縵說：「你去 在約旦河 中沐浴 七 回，你的肉 就必復原，而得潔淨。」 | And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. |
| 11 | 乃縵 卻發怒 走了，說：「 我想 他必定 出來 見我，站著 求告 耶和華─他 神 的名，在 患處 以上搖 手，治好 這大痲瘋。 | But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the Lord his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper. |
| 12 | 大馬士革 的河 亞罷拿 和法珥法 豈不 比以色列 的一切 水 更好嗎？我在那裡 沐浴 不 得潔淨嗎？」於是氣忿忿地 轉身 去了。 | Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage. |
| 13 | 他的僕人 進前來， 對他 說：「我父啊，先知 若吩咐 你 做一件大 事，你豈不 做嗎？何況 說 你去沐浴 而得潔淨呢？」 | And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? |
| 14 | 於是乃縵下去，照著神 人 的話，在約旦河 裡沐浴 七 回；他的肉 復原，好像小 孩子 的肉，他就潔淨了。 | Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. |
| 15 | 乃縵 帶著一切 跟隨他的人，回 到 神 人那裡， 站 在他面前，說：「如今 我知道， 除了 以色列之外，普 天下 沒有 神。現在 求 你收點 僕人 的 禮物。」 | And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant. |
| 16 | 以利沙說：「我指著 所 事奉 永生 的耶和華起誓，我必不 受。」乃縵再三地求 他，他卻不受。 | But he said, As the Lord liveth, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it; but he refused. |
| 17 | 乃縵 說：「你若不肯受，請 將兩 騾子 馱 的土 賜 給僕人。從今以後，僕人 必不 再 將燔祭 或平安祭 獻與 別 神，只 獻給耶和華。 | And Naaman said, Shall there not then, I pray thee, be given to thy servant two mules’ burden of earth? for thy servant will henceforth offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice unto other gods, but unto the Lord. |
| 18 | 惟有一件 事，願耶和華 饒恕 你僕人：我主人 進 臨門 廟 叩拜的時候，我用 手 攙 他 在臨門 廟，我也屈身。我在臨門 廟 屈身 的這 事，願 耶和華 饒恕我。」 | In this thing the Lord pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the house of Rimmon, the Lord pardon thy servant in this thing. |
| 19 | 以利沙對他 說：「你可以平平安安地 回去！」乃縵就離開 他去了；走了不 遠， | And he said unto him, Go in peace. So he departed from him a little way. |
| 20 | 神 人 以利沙 的僕人 基哈西 心裡說：「 我主人 不願 從這 亞蘭人 乃縵 手 裡受 他帶來 的禮物，我指著永生 的耶和華起誓，我必 跑去 追上他，向他 要 些。」 | But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the Lord liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him. |
| 21 | 於是基哈西 追趕 乃縵。乃縵 看見 有人追趕，就急忙下 車 迎著他，說：「都平安嗎？」 | So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he lighted down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well? |
| 22 | 說：「都平安。我主人 打發我 來說：『 剛才 有兩 個少年人，是先知 門徒，從以法蓮 山 地來 見我，請 你賜 他們 一他連得 銀子，兩 套 衣裳。』」 | And he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments. |
| 23 | 乃縵 說：「請 受 二他連得」；再三地請受，便將二 他連得 銀子 裝 在兩 個口袋裡，又將兩 套 衣裳 交 給 兩 個僕人；他們就在基哈西前頭 抬著走。 | And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bare them before him. |
| 24 | 到了 山岡，基哈西從他們手 中接過來，放 在屋裡，打發 他們 回去。 | And when he came to the tower, he took them from their hand, and bestowed them in the house: and he let the men go, and they departed. |
| 25 | 基哈西 進去，站 在 他主人面前。以利沙 問他 說：「基哈西 你從哪裡來？」回答說：「僕人 沒有 往 哪裡 去。」 | But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither. |
| 26 | 以利沙對他 說：「那人 下 車 轉回 迎你 的時候，我的心 豈沒有 去呢？這豈是受 銀子、衣裳、買 橄欖園、葡萄園、牛 羊、僕 婢 的時候呢？ | And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants? |
| 27 | 因此，乃縵 的大痲瘋 必沾染 你 和你的後裔，直到永遠。」基哈西從以利沙面前 退出去，就長了大痲瘋，像雪那樣白。 | The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow. |
