| 1 | 瑪拿西 登基 的時候年 十 二 歲，在耶路撒冷 作王 五十 五 年。 | Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem: |
| 2 | 他行 耶和華 眼中 看為惡的事，效法耶和華 在以色列 人 面前 趕出 的外邦人 那 可憎的事， | But did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, like unto the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel. |
| 3 | 重新 建築 他父 希西家 所 拆毀 的邱壇，又為巴力 築 壇，作 木偶，且敬拜 事奉 天上 的萬 象， | For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them. |

| 7 | 又在 神 殿 內立 雕刻的 偶像。 神 曾對 大衛 和 他兒子 所羅門 說：「我在以色列 各 支派 中所 選擇 的耶路撒冷 和這 殿，必立 我的名 直到永遠。 | And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever: |

| 11 | 所以耶和華 使 亞述 王 的 將 帥 來 攻擊他們，用鐃鉤 鉤住 瑪拿西，用銅鍊 鎖住他，帶到 巴比倫去。 | Wherefore the Lord brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon. |
| 12 | 他 在急難的時候，就懇求 耶和華─他的 神，且在他列祖的 神 面前 極其 自卑。 | And when he was in affliction, he besought the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, |
| 13 | 他祈禱 耶和華，耶和華就允准 他的祈求，垂聽 他的禱告，使他歸回 耶路撒冷，仍坐國位。瑪拿西 這才知道 惟獨耶和華 是 神。 | And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord he was God. |
| 14 | 此 後，瑪拿西在大衛 城 外，從谷內 基訓 西邊 直到魚 門 口，建築 城牆，環繞 俄斐勒，這牆築得甚 高；又在猶大 各 堅固 城 內設立 勇敢的軍 長； | Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah. |
| 15 | 並除掉 外邦人 的神像 與 耶和華 殿 中的偶像，又將他在耶和華 殿 的山上 和耶路撒冷 所 築 的各 壇 都拆毀拋 在城 外； | And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the Lord, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the Lord, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city. |
| 16 | 重修 耶和華 的祭壇，在壇上 獻 平安 祭、感謝祭，吩咐 猶大人 事奉 耶和華─以色列的 神。 | And he repaired the altar of the Lord, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the Lord God of Israel. |
| 17 | 百姓 卻 仍 在邱壇 上獻祭，只 獻給耶和華─他們的 神。 | Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places, yet unto the Lord their God only. |
| 18 | 瑪拿西 其餘 的事 和禱告他 神的話，並先見 奉耶和華─以色列 神 的名 警戒 他 的言語，都 寫在 以色列 諸王 記上。 | Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to him in the name of the Lord God of Israel, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel. |
| 19 | 他的禱告，與 神怎樣應允 他，他未自卑 以前的 罪愆 過犯，並在 何 處 建築 邱壇，設立 亞舍拉 和雕刻的偶像，都 寫 在 何賽 的書上。 | His prayer also, and how God was intreated of him, and all his sin, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers. |
| 20 | 瑪拿西 與 他列祖 同睡，葬 在自己的宮院裡。他兒子 亞們 接續他 作王。 | So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his stead. |

| 23 | 不 在耶和華 面前 像他父 瑪拿西 自卑。 這 亞們 所犯的罪 越犯越大。 | And humbled not himself before the Lord, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more. |

| 25 | 但國 民 殺了 那些 背叛 亞們 王的人， 立 他兒子 約西亞 接續他 作王。 | But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead. |
