| 2 | 大衛 就知道 耶和華 堅立他 作 以色列 王，又為 自己的民 以色列， 使他的國 興 旺。 | And David perceived that the Lord had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel. |
| 3 | 大衛 在耶路撒冷 又 立 后妃， 又 生 兒 女。 | And David took more wives at Jerusalem: and David begat more sons and daughters. |

Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baal–perazim. |

| 15 | 你聽見 桑樹 梢上 有腳步 的聲音，就 要出 戰，因為 神 已經在你前頭 去 攻打 非利士人 的軍隊。」 | And it shall be, when thou shalt hear a sound of going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt go out to battle: for God is gone forth before thee to smite the host of the Philistines. |
