| 2 | 凡事 謙虛、 溫柔、忍耐，用 愛心 互相 寬容， | With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; |
| 3 | 用 和平 彼此聯絡，竭力 保守 聖靈 所賜合而為一的心。 | Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. |
| 4 | 身體 只有一個， 聖靈 只有一個，正如 你們 蒙召 同有一個 指望。 | There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; |
| 5 | 一 主，一 信，一 洗， | One Lord, one faith, one baptism, |
| 6 | 一 神， 就是眾人 的父， 超乎 眾人之上， 貫乎 眾人之中，也 住在 眾人之內。 | One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. |
| 7 | 我們 各人 蒙 恩，都是照 基督 所量給 各人的恩賜。 | But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. |
| 8 | 所以 經上說：他升 上 高天的時候，擄掠 了仇敵，將各樣的恩賜 賞給 人。 | Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. |
| 9 | （ 既說升上，豈不 是 先降 在 地 下嗎？ | (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? |
| 10 | 那降下的，就是 遠升 諸 天 之上 要充滿 萬有的。） | He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) |
| 11 | 他 所賜的，有 使徒， 有先知， 有傳福音的， 有牧師 和 教師， | And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; |
| 12 | 為要 成全 聖徒， 各盡其職， 建立 基督 的身體， | For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: |
| 13 | 直等到 我們眾人 在真道 上同歸 於 一， 認識 神 的兒子，得以 長大成人， 滿有 基督 長成的身量， | Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: |
| 14 | 使 我們不再 作小孩子，中了 人 的詭計 和欺騙的法術， 被 一切 異教 之風搖動，飄來飄去，就 隨從 各樣的異端； | That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; |
| 15 | 惟 用 愛心 說誠實話，凡事 長進， 連於元首 基督， | But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: |
| 16 | 全 身 都靠 他 聯絡 得合式， 百節 各按各職，照著 各 體 的功用 彼此 相助，便叫 身體 漸漸增長， 在 愛 中建立 自己。 | From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. |
| 17 | 所以 我說，且 在 主 裡確實地說，你們 行事 不要 再像 外邦人 存 虛妄 的 心 行事。 | This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, |
| 18 | 他們 心地 昏昧，與 神 所賜的生命 隔絕了，都因 自己 無知， 心裡 剛硬； | Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: |
| 19 | 良心既然 喪盡，就放縱 私慾，貪 行 種種的 污穢。 | Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. |
| 20 | 你們 學了 基督，卻 不是 這樣。 | But ye have not so learned Christ; |
| 21 | 如果 你們聽過 他的道， 領了他 的教， 學了他的 真理， | If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: |
| 22 | 就要 脫去 你們 從前 行為 上的舊 人，這 舊人是因 私慾 的迷惑 漸漸變壞的； | That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; |
| 23 | 又 要將你們的 心志 改換一新， | And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; |
| 24 | 並且 穿上 新 人；這新人 是照著 神 的形像造的，有 真理 的仁義 和 聖潔。 | And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. |
| 25 | 所以，你們要棄絕 謊言，各人 與 鄰舍 說 實話，因為 我們是 互相 為肢體。 | Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. |
| 26 | 生氣 卻 不要 犯罪；不可 含 怒 到日 落， | Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: |
| 27 | 也不可 給魔鬼 留 地步。 | Neither give place to the devil. |
| 28 | 從前偷竊的，不要再 偷；總要 勞力，親 手 做 正經事，就可 有餘 分給 那缺少的人。 | Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. |
| 29 | 污穢的 言語 一句不可 出 口，只要 隨事說 造就 人 的好話，叫 聽見的人 得 益處。 | Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. |
| 30 | 不要叫 神 的聖 靈 擔憂；你們原是 受了他的印記，等候 得贖 的日子來到。 | And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. |
| 31 | 一切 苦毒、 惱恨、 忿怒、 嚷鬧、 毀謗，並 一切 的惡毒（或譯：陰毒），都當從 你們 中間除掉； | Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: |
| 32 | 並 要以 恩慈 相待，存憐憫的心，彼此 饒恕，正如 神 在基督裡 饒恕了 你們一樣。 | And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. |
