1 所以，你們該 效法 神，好像 蒙慈愛的 兒女一樣。 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2 也 要憑 愛心 行事，正如 基督 愛 我們， 為 我們 捨了 自己，當作 馨香的 供物 和 祭物，獻與 神。 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
3 至於 淫亂 並 一切 污穢，或 是貪婪，在你們 中間 連提都不可，方合 聖徒 的體統。 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4 淫詞、 妄語，和 戲笑的話 都不 相宜；總要 說感謝的話。 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5 因為 你們確實地知道， 無論 是淫亂的， 是污穢的， 是有貪心的，在 基督 和 神 的國 裡都是無分的。有貪心的， 就與拜偶像的一樣。 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 不要被人 虛浮的 話 欺哄； 因 這些事， 神 的忿怒 必臨到 那悖逆 之子。 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7 所以，你們不要 與他們 同夥。 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
8 從前 你們是 暗昧的，但 如今 在 主 裡面是光明的，行事為人 就當像 光明 的子女。 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9 光明 所結的果子 就是 一切 良善、 公義、 誠實。 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10 總要察驗 何 為 主 所喜悅的事。 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11 那暗昧 無益的 事，不要 與人同行，倒要 責備行這事的人； And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12 因為 他們 暗中 所行的，就是 提起來 也是 可恥的。 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13 凡事 受了責備，就被 光 顯明出來，因為 一切 能顯明 的就是 光。 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14 所以 主說：你這睡著的 人當醒過來， 從 死 裡復活！ 基督 就要光照 你了。 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 你們要謹慎 行事，不要 像 愚昧人，當 像 智慧人。 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 要愛惜 光陰，因為 現今的世代 邪惡。 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 不要 作 糊塗人， 要明白 主 的旨意 如何。 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
18 不 要醉 酒， 酒能使人 放蕩；乃要 被 聖靈 充滿。 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19 當用詩章、 頌詞、 靈 歌 彼此 對說，口唱 心和 地讚美主。 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 凡事 要奉 我們 主 耶穌 基督 的名 常常 感謝 父 神。 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
21 又當存 敬畏 基督的心，彼此 順服。 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
22 你們作妻子的，當順服自己的 丈夫，如同 順服主。 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 因為 丈夫 是 妻子的 頭， 如同 基督 是教會的 頭；他 又是教會全體的 救主。 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 教會 怎樣 順服 基督，妻子 也要怎樣 凡事 順服丈夫。 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25 你們作丈夫的，要愛 你們的妻子，正如 基督 愛 教會， 為 教會 捨己。 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 要用水 藉著 道 把教會 洗淨，成為聖潔， That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 可以獻 給自己，作個榮耀的 教會，毫無 玷污、 皺紋 等類的病，乃 是 聖潔 沒有瑕疵的。 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28 丈夫 也 當 照樣 愛 妻子，如同 愛自己的 身子；愛 妻子 便是愛 自己了。 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29 從來 沒有人 恨惡 自己的 身子，總是 保養 顧惜，正像 基督 待教會一樣， For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30 因 我們是 他 身上 的肢體（有古卷加：就是他的骨他的肉）。 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31 為 這個緣故，人 要離開 父 母， 與 妻子 連合， 二人 成為 一 體。 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 這 是 極大的 奧祕，但 我 是指著 基督 和 教會 說的。 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
33 然而，你們 各人 都當 愛 妻子，如同 愛自己一樣。 妻子 也當 敬重 她的丈夫。 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
