1 「因為 天 國 好像 家主 清早 去 雇 人 進 他的 葡萄園做工， For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
2 和 工人 講定 一天 一錢銀子，就打發 他們 進 葡萄園去。 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3 約 在巳初 出去，看見 市 上 還有 閒 站的人， And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
4 就對他們 說：『你們 也 進 葡萄園 去， 所 當給的，我必給 你們。』他們也進去了。 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
5 約 在午正 和 申初 又 出去，也是這樣 行。 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
6 約 在酉初 出去，看見 還有人 站在那裡，就 問他們 說：『你們為甚麼 整 天 在這裡 閒 站呢？』 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
7 他們說：『因為 沒有人 雇 我們。』他說：『你們 也 進 葡萄園 去。』 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
8 到了 晚上，園 主 對 管事的 說：『叫 工人都來， 給 他們 工錢，從 後來 的起，到 先來的為止。』 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
9 約 在酉初 雇的人來了，各人 得了 一錢銀子。 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
10 及至 那先 雇的來了，他們以為 必要多 得； 誰知也是 各 得 一錢。 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
11 他們得了，就埋怨 家主 說： And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12 『我們 整天 勞 苦 受熱，那 後來 的只做了 一 小時， 你竟叫 他們 和我們 一樣嗎？』 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13 家主回答 其中的一人 說：『朋友，我不 虧負 你，你與我 講定 的不是 一錢銀子嗎？ But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
14 拿 你的 走吧！ 我給 那 後來的 和 給你 一樣，這是我願意的。 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
15 我的 東西難道 不 可 隨 我的 意思 用嗎？因為 我 作 好人， 你 就 紅了 眼嗎？』 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
16 這樣，那在後的，將要在 前； 在前的，將要在後了。（有古卷加：因為 被 召 的人多， 選上的 人少。）」 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
17 耶穌 上 耶路撒冷 去的時候，在 路 上把十二個 門徒 帶 到 一邊， 對他們 說： And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,
18 「看哪，我們上 耶路撒冷 去， 人 子 要被交給 祭司長 和 文士。 他們要定 他 死罪， Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,
19 又 交給 外邦人， 將他 戲弄， 鞭打， 釘在十字架上； 第三 日 他要復活。」 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
20 那時，西庇太 兒子 的母親 同 她 兩個兒子 上前來 拜 耶穌， 求 他 一件事。 Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
21 耶穌說：「你要 甚麼呢？」她說：「願 你叫 我 這 兩個 兒子 在 你 國裡，一個 坐 在 你 右邊， 一個 坐在 你 左邊。」 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
22 耶穌 回答 說：「你們不 知道 所求 的是甚麼； 我 將要 喝 的杯，你們能 喝嗎？」他們說：「我們能。」 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
23 耶穌說：「我 所喝的杯，你們必要 喝；只是 坐 在 我的左 右，不 是 我 可以賜 的，乃是 我 父 為誰 預備的，就賜給誰。」 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
24 那十個 門徒聽見，就惱怒 他們弟兄 二人。 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.
25 耶穌 叫了 他們來，說：「你們知道 外邦人 有君王 為主治理 他們， 有大臣 操權管束 他們。 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
26 只是在 你們中間，不可 這樣； 你們 中間 誰 願 為 大，就必作 你們的 用人； But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
27 誰 願 為 首，就必作 你們的 僕人。 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
28 正如 人 子 來，不是 要受人的服事，乃是 要服事人，並且 要捨 命，作 多人 的贖價。」 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
29 他們 出 耶利哥的時候，有極 多的人 跟隨 他。 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.
30 有兩個 瞎子 坐 在 路旁，聽說 是 耶穌 經過，就喊著 說：「主啊，大衛 的子孫，可憐 我們吧！」 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.
31 眾人 責備 他們， 不許他們作聲；他們卻 越發 喊著 說：「主啊，大衛 的子孫，可憐 我們吧！」 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.
32 耶穌 就 站住，叫他們 來， 說：「要 我為你們 做 甚麼？」 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
33 他們說：「主啊，要 我們的 眼睛 能看見！」 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
34 耶穌 就動了慈心，把他們的 眼睛 一摸， 他們立刻 看見，就 跟從了 耶穌。 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
