| 2 | 耶穌回答 說：「 晚上 天 發紅，你們就說：『天必要晴。』 | He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. |
| 3 | 早晨 天 發紅，又發黑，你們就說：『今日 必有風雨。』你們知道 分辨 天上 的氣色，倒 不 能 分辨這時候 的神蹟。 | And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? |
| 4 | 一個邪惡 淫亂 的世代 求 神蹟， 除了 約拿 的神蹟以外，再沒有 神蹟 給 他看。」耶穌就 離開 他們 去了。 | A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed. |

| 8 | 耶穌 看出來，就說：「你們這小信的人，為甚麼 因為 沒 有 餅 彼此 議論呢？ | Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? |
| 9 | 你們還不 明白嗎？不 記得 那五個 餅 分給五千人、又 收拾了 多少 籃子的零碎嗎？ | Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? |
| 10 | 也不 記得那七個 餅 分給四千人、又 收拾了 多少 筐子的零碎嗎？ | Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? |
| 11 | 我對你們 說：『 要防備 法利賽人 和 撒都該人 的酵』，這話不是 指著 餅說的，你們怎麼 不 明白呢？」 | How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? |

| 17 | 耶穌 對他 說：「西門•巴•約拿，你是 有福的！因為 這不是 屬血 肉 的指示 你的，乃是 我 在 天上 的父指示的。 | And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar–jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. |
| 18 | 我還 告訴 你， 你 是 彼得， 我要把我的 教會 建造 在 這 磐石上； 陰間的權柄（權柄：原文是門），不能 勝過 他。 | And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. |

| 25 | 因為，凡 要 救 自己 生命（生命：或譯靈魂；下同）的，必喪掉 生命； 凡 為 我 喪掉 生命的，必得著 生命。 | For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. |
| 26 | 人 若 賺得 全 世界， 賠上 自己的 生命，有甚麼 益處呢？人 還能 拿 甚麼 換 生命呢？ | For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? |
| 27 | 人 子 要 在 他 父的 榮耀裡，同著 眾使者 降臨； 那時候，他要照 各人的 行為 報應 各人。 | For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. |
| 28 | 我實在 告訴 你們， 站 在這裡的，有人 在沒 嘗 死 味以前 必看見 人 子 降臨 在 他的 國裡。」 | Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. |
