| 2 | 就 在他們 面前 變了形像， 臉面 明亮 如 日頭， 衣裳 潔白 如 光。 | And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. |
| 3 | 忽然，有摩西、 以利亞 向他們 顯現，同 耶穌 說話。 | And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. |
| 4 | 彼得 對耶穌 說：「主啊，我們 在 這裡 真好！你若 願意，我就在這裡 搭 三座 棚，一座 為你， 一座 為摩西， 一座 為以利亞。」 | Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. |

| 8 | 他們 舉 目 不 見一人，只 見耶穌在那裡。 | And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only. |
| 9 | 下 山的時候，耶穌 吩咐 他們 說：「人 子 還沒有 從 死 裡復活，你們不要 將所看見的 告訴人。」 | And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead. |
| 10 | 門徒 問 耶穌 說：「文士 為甚麼 說 以利亞 必須 先 來？」 | And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? |
| 11 | 耶穌回答 說：「以利亞 固然 先來，並 要復興 萬事； | And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. |
| 12 | 只是 我告訴 你們， 以利亞 已經 來了，人卻 不 認識 他，竟 任 意 待 他。人 子 也 將要 這樣 受 他們的 害。」 | But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. |
| 13 | 門徒 這才 明白 耶穌所說 的是指著 施洗的 約翰。 | Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist. |
| 14 | 耶穌和門徒到了 眾人那裡，有一個人 來 見耶穌，跪下， | And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, |
| 15 | 說：「主啊，憐憫 我的 兒子！ 他害 癲癇 的病 很苦， 屢次 跌 在 火裡， 屢次 跌在 水裡。 | Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water. |
| 16 | 我帶 他 到你 門徒那裡，他們卻 不 能 醫治 他。」 | And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. |
| 17 | 耶穌 說：「噯！這又不信 又 悖謬的 世代啊，我在 你們 這裡要到 幾時呢？我忍耐 你們 要到 幾時呢？把他 帶到 我 這裡來吧！」 | Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me. |
| 18 | 耶穌 斥責 那鬼，鬼 就 出來；從 此 孩子 就 痊癒了。 | And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. |
| 19 | 門徒 暗暗地 到 耶穌跟前，說：「我們 為甚麼 不 能 趕出 那鬼呢？」 | Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? |
| 20 | 耶穌說：「是因 你們的 信心小。 我實在 告訴 你們，你們若 有 信心，像 一粒 芥菜種，就是對這座 山 說：『你從這邊 挪到 那邊』，它也 必挪去；並且 你們 沒有 一件不能做的事了。 | And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. |
| 21 | 至於 這 一類的鬼，若不 禱告、 禁食，他就不 出來（或譯：不能趕他出來）。」 | Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. |
| 22 | 他們 還住 在 加利利的時候， 耶穌 對門徒 說：「 人 子 將要 被交 在 人 手裡。 | And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: |
| 23 | 他們要殺害 他， 第三 日 他要復活。」門徒就 大大地 憂愁。 | And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry. |
| 24 | 到了 迦百農，有收 丁稅 的人來 見彼得， 說：「你們的 先生 不 納 丁稅（丁稅約有半塊錢）嗎？」 | And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? |
| 25 | 彼得說：「納。」 他進了 屋子，耶穌 先 向他 說：「西門，你的 意思 如何？世上 的君王 向 誰 征收 關稅、 丁稅？是向 自己的 兒子呢？ 是向 外人呢？」 | He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers? |
| 26 | 彼得說：「是向 外人。」耶穌 說：「既然如此，兒子 就可以 免稅了。 | Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free. |
| 27 | 但 恐怕觸犯（觸犯：原文是絆倒）他們，你且往 海 邊去 釣魚， 把先 釣上來 的魚 拿起來， 開了 牠的 口，必得 一塊錢，可以 拿去 給 他們，作 你 我的稅銀。」 | Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee. |
