| 1 | 弟兄們，我把 神 賜給 馬其頓 眾教會 的恩 告訴 你們， | Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia; |
| 2 | 就是 他們 在 患難 中受大 試煉的時候，仍有滿足的 快樂， 在極 窮 之間還格外顯出 他們 樂捐 的厚恩。 | How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. |
| 3 | 我可以證明， 他們是按著 力量，而且 也過了 力量，自己甘心樂意地捐助， | For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves; |
| 4 | 再三地 求 我們， 准他們在這供給 聖徒 的恩情 上有分； | Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. |
| 5 | 並且他們所做的，不但 照 我們所想望的，更 照 神 的旨意 先 把自己 獻給 主，又 歸附了我們。 | And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God. |
| 6 | 因此 我 勸 提多， 既然 在 你們 中間 開辦 這 慈惠的事，就 當 辦成了。 | Insomuch that we desired Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace also. |
| 7 | 你們既然 在 信心、 口才、 知識、 熱心，和 待 我們的 愛心 上，都格外顯出滿足來，就 當在 這 慈惠的事 上也 格外顯出滿足來。 | Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also. |
| 8 | 我說這話，不是 吩咐你們，乃是 藉著 別人 的熱心 試驗 你們 愛心 的實在。 | I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love. |
| 9 | 你們知道 我們 主 耶穌 基督 的恩典： 他本來 富足，卻為 你們 成了貧窮，叫 你們 因他的 貧窮，可以成為富足。 | For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. |
| 10 | 我在 這事 上把 我的意見告訴你們， 是與你們 有益；因為你們 下手 辦這事，而且 起此心意，已經 有一年了， | And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago. |
| 11 | 如今 就當 辦成 這事。既有 願做 的心，也當 照 你們所有 的去辦成。 | Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have. |
| 12 | 因為 人若有 願做的 心，必蒙悅納，乃是照 他所有的，並不是 照 他所無的。 | For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not. |
| 13 | 我原不是 要 別人 輕省，你們 受累， | For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened: |
| 14 | 乃 要 均平，就是要你們的 富餘，現在 可以補 他們的 不足，使 他們的 富餘，將來也 可以 補 你們的 不足，這 就 均平了。 | But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality: |
| 15 | 如 經上所記：多 收 的也沒有 餘；少 收 的也 沒有 缺。 | As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack. |
| 16 | 多謝 神， 感動 提多 的心，叫他待 你們 殷勤，像我一樣。 | But thanks be to God, which put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you. |
| 17 | 他固然 是聽了 我的勸，但 自己更是 熱心，情願 往 你們 那裡去。 | For indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more forward, of his own accord he went unto you. |
| 18 | 我們還 打發 一位兄弟 和 他同去，這人 在 福音 上得了眾 教會 的稱讚。 | And we have sent with him the brother, whose praise is in the gospel throughout all the churches; |
| 19 | 不但這樣，他也 被 眾教會 挑選，和我們 同行，把 所託 與 我們 的這 捐貲 送到了，可以 榮耀 主，又 表明我們 樂意的心。 | And not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind: |
| 20 | 這 就免得 有人 因 我們 收的 捐銀很多，就挑我們 的不是。 | Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us: |
| 21 | 我們留心行 光明的事，不但 在主 面前，就在人 面前 也是這樣。 | Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men. |
| 22 | 我們 又 打發 一位兄弟 同去；這人 的熱心，我們在 許多事 上屢次 試驗過。 現在 他因為深 信 你們，就更加 熱心了。 | And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have oftentimes proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, upon the great confidence which I have in you. |
| 23 | 論到 提多，他是我的 同伴， 一同 為 你們勞碌的。論到 那兩位 兄弟，他們是眾教會 的使者，是基督 的榮耀。 | Whether any do enquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellowhelper concerning you: or our brethren be enquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ. |
| 24 | 所以，你們務要在 眾教會 面前 顯明 你們 愛心 的憑據，並 我 所誇獎 你們的 憑據。 | Wherefore shew ye to them, and before the churches, the proof of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf. |
