| 1 | 親愛的弟兄啊，我們既 有 這等 應許，就當潔淨 自己，除去 身體、 靈魂 一切的 污穢， 敬畏 神，得以成 聖。 | Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. |
| 2 | 你們要心地寬大收納 我們。我們未曾 虧負誰，未曾 敗壞誰，未曾佔誰 的便宜。 | Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man. |
| 3 | 我說這話，不是 要定 你們的罪。 我已經說過， 你們常在 我們 心裡，情願與 你們同生 同死。 | I speak not this to condemn you: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you. |
| 4 | 我 大大地 放膽，向 你們說話；我 因 你們 多多 誇口，滿得 安慰；我們 在 一切 患難中 分外地 快樂。 | Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation. |

| 9 | 如今 我歡喜，不是 因 你們憂愁，是 因 你們從憂愁 中生出 懊悔來。 你們依著 神 的意思憂愁， 凡事就不 至於 因 我們 受虧損了。 | Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. |

| 11 | 你看，你們 依著 神 的意思憂愁，從此 就生出 何等的 殷勤、 自訴、 自恨、 恐懼、 想念、 熱心、 責罰（或譯：自責）。在 這一切事上，你們都表明 自己 是 潔淨的。 | For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter. |
| 12 | 我雖然 從前寫信 給你們，卻不是 為 那虧負人的，也不是 為 那受人虧負的，乃 要在 神 面前 把你們 顧念 我們的 熱心 表明 出來。 | Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you. |

| 15 | 並且 提多想起 你們 眾人 的順服，是怎樣 恐懼 戰兢地 接待 他，他 愛 你們 的心腸 就 越發熱了。 | And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him. |
| 16 | 我如今歡喜， 能在 凡事 上為 你們 放心。 | I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things. |
