| 1 | 祭司歟、爾其聽之、以色列家、爾其聆之、王室爾其傾耳、審鞫有關於爾、因爾爲擭於米斯巴、爲網於他泊、 | Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor. |
| 2 | 彼叛逆者、深入邪僻、我必責之、 | And the revolters are profound to make slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all. |
| 3 | 以法蓮爲我所知、以色列無隱於我、以法蓮歟、爾乃行淫、以色列被玷、 | I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled. |
| 4 | 彼之所爲、阻其歸於上帝、蓋中懷淫心、不識耶和華、 | They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the Lord. |
| 5 | 以色列所誇者、覿面懲之、以色列與以法蓮、必因其罪而躓、猶大亦偕之躓、 | And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall fall with them. |
| 6 | 彼將攜其牛羊、往求耶和華而不遇、已離之矣、 | They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the Lord; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them. |
| 7 | 彼衆欺罔耶和華、而生私子、迨及月朔、必與其業偕亡、○ | They have dealt treacherously against the Lord: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions. |
| 8 | 爾其在基比亞鳴笳、在拉瑪吹角、在伯亞文示警曰、便雅憫歟、其顧爾後、 | Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Beth–aven, after thee, O Benjamin. |
| 9 | 譴責之日、以法蓮將爲荒涼、我在以色列支派中、示以必成之事、 | Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be. |
| 10 | 猶大牧伯、如遷移界址者然、我將傾怒於彼、有若傾水、 | The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water. |
| 11 | 以法蓮甘從虛妄、是以受壓制、被屈抑、 | Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment. |
| 12 | 故我於以法蓮如蠹、於猶大家如黴、 | Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness. |
| 13 | 以法蓮自知其病、猶大自覺其傷、以法蓮則往亞述、遣人詣耶雷布王、然彼不能醫其病、療其傷、 | When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound. |
| 14 | 我將於以法蓮如獅、於猶大家如稚獅、攫裂之而去、奪取之而往、無能救援、 | For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him. |
| 15 | 我必歸於我所、待其認己罪、而求見我面、彼遇難時、必切求我、 | I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early. |
