1 亞當之裔、其譜如左、上帝造人、乃肖其象、 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2 造男造女、當造之日、錫之以嘏、稱之曰人、 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3 亞當百有三十歲生子、克肖乎己、命名塞特、 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
4 後歷八百年、猶生子女、 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5 享壽九百三十歲而終、○ And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
6 塞特百有五歲、生以挪士、 And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
7 後歷八百有七年、猶生子女、 And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
8 享壽九百十有二歲而終、○ And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.
9 以挪士九十歲生該南、 And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:
10 後歷八百十五年、猶生子女、 And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:
11 享壽九百有五歲而終、○ And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.
12 該南七十歲生瑪勒列、 And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:
13 後歷八百四十年、猶生子女、 And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:
14 享壽九百有十歲而終、○ And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
15 瑪勒列六十五歲生雅列、 And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:
16 後歷八百三十年、猶生子女、 And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:
17 享壽八百九十五歲而終、○ And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
18 雅列百六十二歲生以諾、 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:
19 後歷八百年、猶生子女、 And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
20 享壽九百六十二歲而終、○ And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
21 以諾六十五歲生瑪土撒拉、 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
22 後與上帝偕行、歷三百年、猶生子女、 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
23 享壽三百六十五歲、 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24 以諾與上帝偕行、上帝接之、遂不在焉、○ And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
25 瑪土撒拉百八十七歲生拉麥、 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
26 後歷七百八十二年、猶生子女、 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
27 享壽九百六十九歲而終、○ And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
28 拉麥百八十二歲生子、 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29 命名挪亞、曰、耶和華詛地、使我操作勞苦、此子必慰藉我、 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed.
30 後拉麥歷五百九十五年、猶生子女、 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
31 享壽七百七十七歲而終、○ And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
32 挪亞五百歲、生閃含雅弗、 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
