| 3 | 其軍豈有數乎、其光孰不照乎、 | Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise? |
| 4 | 世人於上帝前、何能爲義、婦所生者、何能爲潔、 | How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman? |
| 5 | 在其目中、月無光耀、星不清潔、 | Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight. |
| 6 | 況如蛆之世人、如蟲之人子乎、 | How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm? |
