1 亞倫子孫班次如左、亞倫子拿答、亞比戶、以利亞撒、以他瑪、 Now these are the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2 拿答亞比戶先其父而死、無子、故以利亞撒以他瑪供祭司職、 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest’s office.
3 大衞與以利亞撒之裔撒督、及以他瑪之裔亞希米勒、循其秩序、分其班次、 And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service.
4 以利亞撒子孫爲長者、較以他瑪子孫尤多、分之如左、以利亞撒子孫族長十六、以他瑪子孫室家凡八、 And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and thus were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen chief men of the house of their fathers, and eight among the sons of Ithamar according to the house of their fathers.
5 皆掣籤而分之、無有差等、或在聖所爲長、或在上帝前爲長、兼有以利亞撒以他瑪之子孫、 Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors of the house of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
6 利未人、拿坦業子繕寫示瑪雅、在王與牧伯、及祭司撒督、亞比亞他子亞希米勒、曁祭司利未人之族長前、記錄其名、爲以利亞撒子孫取一族、爲以他瑪子孫取一族、 And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, one of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and before the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites: one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and one taken for Ithamar.
7 掣籤而得者、首耶何雅立、次耶大雅、 Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,
8 三哈琳、四梭琳、 The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
9 五瑪基雅、六米雅民、 The fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
10 七哈歌斯、八亞比雅、 The seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
11 九耶書亞、十示迦尼、 The ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
12 十一以利雅實、十二雅金、 The eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
13 十三胡巴、十四耶是比押、 The thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
14 十五璧迦、十六音麥、 The fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
15 十七希悉、十八哈闢悉、 The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,
16 十九毘他希雅、二十以西結、 The nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel,
17 二十一雅斤、二十二迦末、 The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,
18 二十三第萊雅、二十四瑪西亞、 The three and twentieth to Delaiah, the four and twentieth to Maaziah.
19 如是定其班次、入耶和華室、循其祖亞倫之定例、遵以色列之上帝耶和華所命、○ These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the Lord, according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.
20 其餘利未之裔、暗蘭子書巴業、書巴業子耶希底亞、 And the rest of the sons of Levi were these: Of the sons of Amram; Shubael: of the sons of Shubael; Jehdeiah.
21 利哈比雅裔、伊示雅爲長、 Concerning Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, the first was Isshiah.
22 以斯哈裔示羅摩、示羅摩裔雅哈、 Of the Izharites; Shelomoth: of the sons of Shelomoth; Jahath.
23 希伯倫裔、長子耶利雅、次子亞瑪利雅、三子雅哈悉、四子耶加面、 And the sons of Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
24 烏薛裔米迦、米迦裔沙密、 Of the sons of Uzziel; Michah: of the sons of Michah; Shamir.
25 米迦弟伊示雅、伊示雅裔撒迦利雅、 The brother of Michah was Isshiah: of the sons of Isshiah; Zechariah.
26 米拉利裔抹利、母示、雅西雅裔比挪、 The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi: the sons of Jaaziah; Beno.
27 米拉利裔、雅西雅子比挪、朔含、撒刻、伊比利、 The sons of Merari by Jaaziah; Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.
28 抹利子以利亞撒、以利亞撒無子、 Of Mahli came Eleazar, who had no sons.
29 基士裔耶拉篾、 Concerning Kish: the son of Kish was Jerahmeel.
30 母示子末力、以得、耶利摩、此皆利未人之裔、循其室家、 The sons also of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after the house of their fathers.
31 亦如其昆弟亞倫裔、掣籤於大衞王、及撒督亞希米勒、與祭司利未人之族長前、室家之長、與其弟無異也、 These likewise cast lots over against their brethren the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal fathers over against their younger brethren.
