1 大衞與諸軍長、簡立亞薩希幔耶杜頓子孫、俾供役事、以琴瑟與鈸謳歌、供役事者、其數如左、 Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:
2 亞薩子撒刻、約瑟、尼探雅、亞薩利拉、俱爲亞薩所轄、遵王命而謳歌、 Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.
3 耶杜頓子基大利、西利、耶篩亞、哈沙比雅、瑪他提雅、示每六人、俱爲其父耶杜頓所轄、以琴謳歌、稱謝頌讚耶和華、 Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the Lord.
4 希幔子布基雅、瑪探雅、烏薛、細布業、耶利摩、哈拿尼雅、哈拿尼、以利亞他、基大利提、羅幔提以謝、約施比加沙、瑪羅提、何提、瑪哈秀、 Of Heman: the sons of Heman; Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti–ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:
5 此皆希幔之子、任吹角之職、希幔奉上帝命、爲王之先見、上帝賜之子十四、女三、 All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6 俱爲其父所轄、以鈸與琴瑟、謳歌於耶和華室、供上帝室之役事、亞薩、耶杜頓、希幔、乃王命是聽、 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king’s order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
7 以上所載、與其昆弟、學習頌讚耶和華、善於謳歌者、共二百八十八人、 So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the Lord, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight.
8 無論尊卑師弟、俱一例掣籤、而得其班次、 And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.
9 掣籤而得者、首亞薩子約瑟、次基大利、與其昆弟及子十二人、 Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons were twelve:
10 三撒刻、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
11 四伊洗利、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
12 五尼探雅、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The fifth to Nethaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13 六布基雅、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The sixth to Bukkiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
14 七耶薩利拉、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The seventh to Jesharelah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
15 八耶篩亞、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The eighth to Jeshaiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
16 九瑪探雅、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The ninth to Mattaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
17 十示每、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The tenth to Shimei, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
18 十一亞薩烈、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The eleventh to Azareel, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
19 十二哈沙比雅、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The twelfth to Hashabiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
20 十三書巴業、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The thirteenth to Shubael, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
21 十四瑪他提雅、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The fourteenth to Mattithiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
22 十五耶利摩、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The fifteenth to Jeremoth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
23 十六哈拿尼雅、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The sixteenth to Hananiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
24 十七約施比加沙、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The seventeenth to Joshbekashah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
25 十八哈拿尼、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The eighteenth to Hanani, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
26 十九瑪羅提、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The nineteenth to Mallothi, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
27 二十以利亞他、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The twentieth to Eliathah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
28 二十一何提、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The one and twentieth to Hothir, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
29 二十二基大利提、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The two and twentieth to Giddalti, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
30 二十三瑪哈秀、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The three and twentieth to Mahazioth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
31 二十四羅幔提以謝、與其子及昆弟十二人、 The four and twentieth to Romamti–ezer, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve.
