| 1 | 以色列人歟、耶和華責所導出埃及之全家、其言爾當聽之、 | Hear this word that the Lord hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying, |
| 2 | 地上諸族、我惟識爾、故爾諸愆、我必報之、 | You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. |
| 3 | 二人若不相約、豈能偕行乎、 | Can two walk together, except they be agreed? |
| 4 | 獅未攫物、豈咆哮於林乎、稚獅無所獲、豈怒吼於穴乎、 | Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing? |
| 5 | 地上若未設機、鳥豈罹於網乎、無有所獲、機豈起於地乎、 | Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all? |
| 6 | 邑中吹角、民豈不懼乎、邑中遭禍、豈非耶和華所爲乎、 | Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the Lord hath not done it? |
| 7 | 主耶和華若不以祕密、先示其僕諸先知、則無所行、 | Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. |
| 8 | 獅旣吼、孰不懼乎、主耶和華旣有命、孰不宣之、○ | The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord God hath spoken, who can but prophesy? |
| 9 | 當於亞實突與埃及之宮室、宣告曰、其集於撒瑪利亞山、觀其中之擾亂、及其暴虐、 | Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof. |
| 10 | 耶和華曰、彼以殘暴刧奪、所得之物、藏於其第、不知行正、 | For they know not to do right, saith the Lord, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces. |
| 11 | 故主耶和華曰、將有敵人環繞斯土、敗爾力、掠爾第、 | Therefore thus saith the Lord God; An adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled. |
| 12 | 取和華曰、譬彼牧人、救二足一耳於獅口、居撒瑪利亞之以色列人、坐於榻隅、據於華毯之牀、其得救也、亦將若是、 | Thus saith the Lord; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch. |

| 14 | 我罰以色列罪愆之日、亦必罰伯特利之壇、斫其壇角、俾墜於地、 | That in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Beth–el: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground. |
| 15 | 且擊其冬夏之室、毀其象牙之室、多室歸於無有、耶和華言之矣、 | And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the Lord. |
