| 1 | 耶和華曰、摩押干罪、至三至四、我不挽回厥罰、以其焚以東王之骨爲灰也、 | Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime: |
| 2 | 他必降火於摩押、燬加畧宮室、摩押必死於鼓譟喧譁角聲之中、 | But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet: |
| 3 | 我必翦滅其士師、殺戮其牧伯、耶和華言之矣、○ | And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the Lord. |
| 4 | 耶和華曰、猶大干罪、至三至四、我不挽回厥罰、以其棄耶和華之法律、不守其典章、厥祖所行之虛誕、使之迷惘、 | Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the Lord, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked: |
| 5 | 我必降火於猶大、燬耶路撒冷宮室、○ | But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem. |
| 6 | 耶和華曰、以色列干罪、至三至四、我不挽回厥罰、以其鬻義人而得銀、鬻貧民以易屨也、 | Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes; |
| 7 | 貪貧窮者蒙首之塵、窒温柔者所行之路、父子同近一女、辱我聖名、 | That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name: |
| 8 | 以所質之衣、陳於諸壇之側、偃臥其上、以所罰之酒、飲於其神之室、 | And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god. |
| 9 | 昔我滅亞摩利人於爾前、其人高若香柏、強如橡樹、我上滅其果、下絕其根、 | Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath. |
| 10 | 我亦攜爾出埃及、導爾歷曠野、凡四十年、俾爾據有亞摩利人之地、 | Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite. |
| 11 | 耶和華曰、以色列人歟、我自爾諸子中、興起先知、由爾少年中、興起拿細耳人、是事豈不有諸、 | And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the Lord. |
| 12 | 爾乃以酒飲拿細耳人、囑先知曰、勿預言、 | But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not. |
| 13 | 我必壓爾、如滿載禾束之車之輘轢然、 | Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves. |
| 14 | 疾趨者不得避所、強壯者不得施力、剛勇者不能自救、 | Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself: |
| 15 | 執弓者不得屹立、捷足者不得脫逃、乘馬者不能自救、 | Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself. |
| 16 | 是日也、壯士中之勇敢者、必裸而遁、耶和華言之矣、 | And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the Lord. |
