| 1 | 我耐望耶和華、彼傾聽我呼籲兮、 | I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. |
| 2 | 援我於陷阱、出我於淤泥、立我足於磐石、穩我步履兮、 | He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. |
| 3 | 使我口謳新歌、頌我上帝、多人見之、寅畏而恃耶和華兮、 | And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. |
| 4 | 惟恃耶和華、不從驕泰虛僞之輩、斯人其有福兮、 | Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. |
| 5 | 耶和華我上帝歟、爾所作之妙工、及向我之意念甚多、不能悉陳、若欲稱述、不可勝數兮、 | Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. |
| 6 | 祭祀禮儀、非爾所悅、燔祭罪祭、非爾所欲、爾啟我耳兮、 | Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. |
| 7 | 我則曰、我來矣、命我之言、經卷載之兮、 | Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, |
| 8 | 我上帝歟、爾旨我樂遵、爾律在我心兮、 | I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. |
| 9 | 我於大會中、宣公義之嘉音、必不緘口、爾耶和華所知兮、 | I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest. |
| 10 | 爾之公義、我未匿之於心、爾之信實拯教、我已宣之、爾之慈惠誠實、於大會中、我未隱之兮、 | I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation. |
| 11 | 耶和華歟、爾之矜恤、勿靳於我、爾之慈惠誠實、恆祐我兮、 | Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. |
| 12 | 災禍環我、不可勝計、罪戾迫我、不能昂首、其數多越於髮、我心喪失兮、 | For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me. |
| 13 | 耶和華歟、以救我爲悅、耶和華歟、其助我維亟兮、 | Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me: O Lord, make haste to help me. |
| 14 | 索我命者、願其同蒙羞恥、幸我災者、願其却退受辱兮、 | Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil. |
| 15 | 向我曰嘻嘻者、願其慚怍而驚駭兮、 | Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha. |
| 16 | 惟爾是求者、願其因爾歡欣喜樂、悅爾拯救者、宜恆稱耶和華爲大兮、 | Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified. |
| 17 | 我乃貧乏、惟主眷顧、我上帝歟、爾爲我輔助、我拯救、祈勿延緩兮、 | But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God. |
