| 2 | 我心因耶和華而誇、謙遜之人、聞之則喜兮、 | My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. |
| 3 | 爾其偕我稱耶和華爲大、共尊其名兮、 | O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. |
| 4 | 我求耶和華、蒙其俞允、拯我脫諸恐懼兮、 | I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. |
| 5 | 瞻望之者、其容有光、永不赧顏兮、 | They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. |
| 6 | 貧人呼籲、耶和華垂聽、援於諸難兮、 | This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. |
| 7 | 耶和華之使者列營、以環寅畏之人、而拯救之兮、 | The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. |
| 8 | 爾其試之、則知耶和華乃善、託庇於彼者、其有福兮、 | O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. |
| 9 | 諸聖民歟、宜寅畏耶和華、寅畏之者、不至匱乏兮、 | O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. |
| 10 | 維彼稚獅、匱食而飢、尋求耶和華者、福祉罔缺兮、 | The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. |
| 11 | 小子歟、來聽之、我以寅畏耶和華之道訓爾兮、 | Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord. |
| 12 | 孰好生命、欲享遐齡、以納福祉、 | What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? |
| 13 | 當捫爾舌、勿出惡言、宜緘爾口、勿道詐語、 | Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. |
| 14 | 去惡行善、尋求和平、而追隨之兮、 | Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. |
| 15 | 耶和華目注義人、耳聽其呼籲、 | The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. |
| 16 | 以怒容向行惡者、絕其誌於世兮、 | The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. |
| 17 | 義人呼籲、耶和華垂聽、援於諸難兮、 | The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. |
| 18 | 傷心者耶和華近之、痛心者拯之兮、 | The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. |
| 19 | 義者患難孔多、耶和華悉拯之、 | Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. |
| 20 | 保衞其骨、無一摧殘兮、 | He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. |
| 21 | 行惡者必殺於惡、憾義者必服厥罪、 | Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. |
| 22 | 耶和華救贖其僕之魂、託庇於彼者、無有服罪兮、 | The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. |
