| 1 | 爾義人歟、當緣耶和華而悅懌、正直者之頌讚、乃合宜兮、 | Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. |
| 2 | 當鼓琴稱謝耶和華、以十絃瑟歌頌之兮、 | Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. |
| 3 | 謳新歌以頌之、鼓琴精巧、其聲清越兮、 | Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise. |
| 4 | 蓋耶和華之言正直、行皆信實兮、 | For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth. |
| 5 | 耶和華以公義爲樂、慈惠遍滿於大地兮、 | He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. |
| 6 | 諸天藉耶和華言而造、萬象由其噓氣而成兮、 | By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. |
| 7 | 彼匯海水如壘、貯淵泉於庫兮、 | He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. |
| 8 | 全地當寅畏耶和華、億兆敬懼之兮、 | Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. |
| 9 | 因彼言之斯有、命之斯立兮、 | For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. |
| 10 | 耶和華敗列邦之謀、廢諸民之志兮、 | The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. |
| 11 | 惟耶和華之謀永立、其志歷世弗替兮、 | The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. |
| 12 | 以耶和華爲上帝者、其國福矣、被彼選爲己業、斯民福矣、 | Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. |
| 13 | 耶和華自天鑒觀、盡覩世人兮、 | The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. |
| 14 | 自其居所而觀、徧覧地上居民兮、 | From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. |
| 15 | 彼造衆心、鑒察其行兮、 | He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works. |
| 16 | 未有君王、因兵多而得救、未有勇士、因力大而獲拯兮、 | There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. |
| 17 | 賴馬獲援、乃屬徒然、其力雖大、不能救人兮、 | An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. |
| 18 | 敬畏耶和華、企望其慈惠者、彼垂顧之兮、 | Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; |
| 19 | 救其魂於死亡、保其生於饑饉兮、 | To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. |
| 20 | 我魂企望耶和華、彼爲我助我盾兮、 | Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield. |
| 21 | 我心於彼而樂、素賴其聖名兮、 | For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. |
| 22 | 耶和華歟、願施慈惠、以副我望兮、 | Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee. |
