| 1 | 兄弟乎、我猶有言、宜緣主而樂、書此遺爾、我不憚煩、爾則安固、 | Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe. |
| 2 | 務愼犬類、及行惡者、損割者、 | Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. |
| 3 | 蓋我儕以上帝之神而崇拜、於基督耶穌而誇詡、不恃乎形軀、是乃受割者也、 | For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. |
| 4 | 雖然、我亦有可恃於形軀者、若他人以形軀爲可恃、則我尤可恃矣、 | Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: |
| 5 | 我生八日而受割、屬以色列裔、便雅憫支、世爲希伯來人、依律則爲法利賽人、 | Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; |
| 6 | 依熱衷則窘逐教會、依律中之義、則無間然、 | Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. |
| 7 | 但昔於我爲益者、我緣基督以之爲損、 | But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. |
| 8 | 我誠以萬事爲損、因識我主基督耶穌爲更美、且爲彼已損失萬事、視爲糞土、致可得乎基督、而恆在其中、 | Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, |
| 9 | 非以自乎律者爲己之義、乃由信基督之義、卽以信而自乎上帝者、 | And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: |
| 10 | 俾知基督、與其復起之能、並與其苦、而效其死、 | That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; |
| 11 | 庶可造乎自死之復起、 | If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. |
| 12 | 非謂我旣得旣成矣、惟趨進、庶可獲基督耶穌所以獲我者也、 | Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. |
| 13 | 兄弟乎、我不以爲旣獲、惟專一、忘乎後而奮乎前、 | Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, |
| 14 | 趨向標準、致得上帝自上而召之賞、在基督耶穌中者、 | I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. |
| 15 | 故凡我中之完人、宜懷此志、若有異志、上帝亦將以此示爾、 | Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. |
| 16 | 惟我儕所已及者、宜依此而行焉、○ | Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. |
| 17 | 兄弟乎、爾宜效我、且視依我模楷而行者、 | Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. |
| 18 | 蓋我屢告爾、今又涕泣告爾、多有所行、與基督十架爲敵者也、 | (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: |
| 19 | 彼以口腹爲神、以己辱爲榮、以世情爲念、終必淪亡、 | Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) |
| 20 | 夫我儕之籍在天、由此我亦俟乎救者、卽主耶穌基督也、 | For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: |
| 21 | 彼將依其能服萬有歸己之功用、化我儕卑賤之體、如其榮耀之體焉、 | Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. |
