| 1 | 我在上帝前、及將鞫生者死者之基督耶穌前、以其顯與其國諭爾、 | I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; |
| 2 | 宜宣道、無論得時與否、必專務之、以恆忍、訓誨、而質證、斥責、勸勉、 | Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. |
| 3 | 蓋時將至、人必不容正教、因其耳癢而徇己慾、多集厥師、 | For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; |
| 4 | 厭聞眞理、轉向虛談、 | And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. |
| 5 | 爾惟凡事節制、忍受艱苦、作宣道之工、以盡厥職、 | But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. |
| 6 | 蓋我方被灌奠、逝期至矣、 | For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. |
| 7 | 我已戰善戰、盡程途、守主道、 | I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: |
| 8 | 今而後有義冕爲我而備、義鞫之主、將於彼日賜我、不第我也、亦曁凡慕其顯著者、○ | Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. |

| 10 | 蓋底馬慕斯世而棄我、往帖撒羅尼迦、革勒士往加拉太、提多往撻馬太、 | For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia. |
| 11 | 惟路加偕我、爾來則攜馬可至、蓋彼之役事、有益於我、 | Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry. |
| 12 | 我已遣推基古往以弗所、 | And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus. |
| 13 | 我在特羅亞加布家所留之外服、爾來攜之、並諸書、羊革者爲尤要、 | The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments. |
| 14 | 銅工亞力山大多方害我、主將依其所行而報之、 | Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works: |
| 15 | 爾宜愼防之、以其甚拒我言也、 | Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words. |
| 16 | 我始申訴、無人助我、而皆遺我、願勿罪之、 | At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. |
| 17 | 然主左右我、剛健我、由我徧宣斯道、俾異邦皆聞之、且我得拯於獅口、 | Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. |
| 18 | 主必拯我脫諸惡行、救我入於天國、願榮歸之、爰及世世、阿們、○ | And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. |
| 19 | 問百基拉亞居拉與阿尼色弗之家安、 | Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus. |
| 20 | 以拉都居哥林多、特羅非摩我留之於米利都、因病故也、 | Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick. |
| 21 | 爾務於冬前就我、友布羅、布田、利奴、革老底亞、與諸兄弟、俱問爾安、 | Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren. |
| 22 | 願主偕爾靈、恩偕爾曹焉、 | The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen. The second epistle unto Timotheus, ordained the first bishop of the church of the Ephesians, was written from Rome, when Paul was brought before Nero the second time. |
