| 5 | 有敬虔之貌、而無其實、若此者宜遠之、 | Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. |
| 6 | 蓋若輩潛入人家、籠絡愚女、卽負重罪、誘於多慾、 | For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, |

| 8 | 猶雅尼佯庇之拒摩西、若輩亦拒眞理、其人心壞、見棄於道、 | Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. |
| 9 | 然不復增益、其愚頑將暴於衆、如彼二人然、 | But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was. |
| 10 | 惟爾已率循我訓、及行、志、信、容、愛、忍、與窘逐苦難、 | But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, |
| 11 | 我在安提阿、以哥念、路司得、所遇諸事、所受窘逐、主悉救我於其中、 | Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. |
| 12 | 凡欲宗基督耶穌、敬虔度生者、必受窘逐、 | Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. |
| 13 | 但行惡與矯誣者、其惡日滋、迷人而亦受迷、 | But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. |
| 14 | 惟爾當止於所學、及所篤信者、以知所學之奚自、 | But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; |
| 15 | 且自幼穉識聖書、能使爾智、以致拯救、由於在基督耶穌之信也、 | And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. |
| 16 | 凡由上帝所感之聖經、有益於訓誨、督責、反正、習義、 | All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: |
