| 1 | 爾提撕彼衆、當服有位有權者而順從之、以備諸善、 | Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, |
| 2 | 勿訕謗、勿爭競、惟温和以表謙柔於衆、 | To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. |
| 3 | 蓋我儕素亦無知、悖逆、迷惑、役於情慾佚樂、以狠毒媢嫉度日、見惡於人、亦彼此相惡、 | For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. |
| 4 | 然我救者上帝之慈惠、及其仁愛顯著時、則救我儕、 | But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, |
| 5 | 非因我行義之功、乃依其矜恤、以重生之盥濯、與聖神之復新、 | Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; |
| 6 | 卽上帝由我救者耶穌基督、厚注於我儕者、 | Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; |
| 7 | 俾得以其恩而見義、且依永生之望、成爲嗣子、 | That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. |
| 8 | 誠哉是言、我欲爾於斯事力言之、使信上帝者愼務善工、斯爲美、有益於人也、 | This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. |
| 9 | 惟遠愚詰、譜系、爭辯、及由律之競端、以其無益而虛妄也、 | But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. |
| 10 | 彼樹黨者、旣警之一而再、則擯棄之、 | A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; |
| 11 | 蓋知若人乖離干罪、乃自定擬也、○ | Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself. |
| 12 | 迨我遣亞提馬、或推基古就爾、爾務當至尼哥波立就我、緣我定意在彼度冬、 | When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter. |
| 13 | 律師西納與亞波羅、爾宜殷勤餽贐、使無匱乏、 | Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them. |
| 14 | 凡我同人、宜學善工、以資所需、免不結實、 | And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful. |
| 15 | 偕我者皆問爾安、問在道中愛我者安、願恩偕爾曹焉、 | All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen. It was written to Titus, ordained the first bishop of the church of the Cretians, from Nicopolis of Macedonia. |
