| 3 | 於我父上帝前、恆念爾之以信而行、以愛而勞、以望我主耶穌基督而忍、 | Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; |

| 8 | 蓋主之道、自爾聲聞於外、不第於馬其頓亞該亞、且爾於上帝之信、隨在播揚、我儕無庸有言、 | For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. |
