| 1 | 主宜以公平待僕、知在天爾亦有主也、○ | Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven. |
| 2 | 祈禱惟恆、於此儆醒而感謝、 | Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; |
| 3 | 且爲我儕祈禱、俾上帝闢道之門、得言基督之奧祕、我爲此而受縲絏也、 | Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: |
| 4 | 令我闡發之、如所當言、 | That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. |
| 5 | 爾於外人、當以智而行、光陰是惜、 | Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. |
| 6 | 言惟温和、如調以鹽、則知所以應對人矣、○ | Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. |
| 7 | 凡我之事、推基古將告爾、彼乃可愛之兄弟、於主爲忠信之役、與我同爲僕者、 | All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord: |
| 8 | 緣此、我遣之就爾、俾知我事、且慰爾心、 | Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts; |
| 9 | 並偕阿尼西母、彼乃忠信可愛之兄弟、爾之同儕也、二人將以斯地之事、悉告於爾、○ | With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here. |
| 10 | 我同囚之亞里達古、及巴拿巴之甥馬可、俱問爾安、論此馬可、爾已受命、彼若就爾、當接納之、 | Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister’s son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;) |
| 11 | 並有耶數、又名猶士都者、亦問爾安、是皆受割者、惟此三人爲上帝國與我同勞、而慰我心焉、 | And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me. |
| 12 | 爾之同儕、基督耶穌之僕以巴弗、問爾安、彼恆爲爾竭力祈禱、使爾樹立成全、得悉上帝之旨、 | Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. |
| 13 | 彼爲爾曹、及在老底嘉希拉波立之衆、厥勞甚多、我可爲之證也、 | For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis. |
| 14 | 可愛之醫士路加、及底馬問爾安、 | Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you. |
| 15 | 爾宜問在老底嘉諸兄弟、與寧法及其家中之會安、 | Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house. |
| 16 | 此書旣讀於爾中、亦令讀於老底嘉之會、而爾亦讀來自老底嘉之書、 | And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea. |
| 17 | 寄語亞基布、愼其所受於主之職而盡之、○ | And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it. |
| 18 | 我保羅手書問爾安、宜念我之縲絏、願恩惠偕爾焉、 | The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen. Written from Rome to the Colossians by Tychicus and Onesimus. |
