| 1 | 兄弟乎、昔我就爾、宣上帝之奧祕、未用高言峻智、 | And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. |
| 2 | 蓋我定意、於爾中他無所知、惟耶穌基督、與其釘十架耳、 | For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. |
| 3 | 我偕爾時、荏弱驚懼、戰慄不勝、 | And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. |
| 4 | 且所語所宣、不在智慧之婉言、惟在聖神與能之闡明、 | And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: |
| 5 | 令爾之信、不在人之智、乃在上帝之能、○ | That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. |
| 6 | 然我於成人亦言智、非斯世之智、亦非斯世掌權必敗者之智、 | Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: |
| 7 | 所言者乃上帝奧妙之智、卽昔所隱、上帝於萬世之先、豫定以榮我儕者也、 | But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: |
| 8 | 此智也、斯世掌權者不知、若知之、則不以有榮之主釘十架矣、 | Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. |
| 9 | 如經云、目未見、耳未聞、亦未入人之心者、卽上帝爲愛之者所備也、 | But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. |
| 10 | 惟上帝以聖神示我儕、蓋聖神窮萬有、以及乎上帝之深邃、 | But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. |
| 11 | 夫人之情、非在其內之靈、誰知之乎、如是、上帝之情、非上帝之神、亦無知之者、 | For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. |
| 12 | 我儕所受、非斯世之靈、乃上帝之神、俾我知上帝所樂賜我者、 | Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. |
| 13 | 我儕言之、非以人智所訓、乃聖神所訓、以靈言互參靈事也、 | Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. |
| 14 | 屬血氣者、不納上帝聖神之事、以之爲愚、且不能識、以其事乃由心靈而擬也、 | But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. |
| 15 | 惟屬靈者、則擬萬事、而己不爲人所擬、 | But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. |
| 16 | 孰知主心而誨之乎、我儕乃有基督之心矣、 | For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. |
