| 3 | Sa esta g�iya uje y guinin jasangan y profeta Isaias, na ileg�a: Inagang ni umagang gui desierto: Famauleg y chalan y Se�ot, natunas y chalan�a. | For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. |
| 4 | Y magagu�a si Juan y pilon cameyo yan y gode�a cuero na jachaflileg gui sentura�a, ya y na�a y apacha sija yan y miet jalom tano. | And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. |
| 5 | Ayo nae mapos malag para g�iya, Jerusalem yan Judea yan todo y tano gui oriyan Jordan, | Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judea, and all the region round about Jordan, |
| 6 | Ya esta manmatagpange pot g�iya, guiya Jordan, jasangan claro y isao�ija. | And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins. |
| 7 | � Ya jalie megae na Fariseo yan Saduseo sija na manmamaela para y tinagpange�a ya ileg�a: Rasan culebla, jaye jamyo fumanag�e na insujaye y binibo ni mamaela? | But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? |
| 8 | Fanmamatinas tinegcha digno ni y sinetsot. | Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: |
| 9 | Ya chamiyo jumajaso sumangan gui sanjalommiyo, na si Abraham tatata; ya guajo sumangane jamyo, na si�a si Yuus janacajulo este sija na acho famaguon gui as Abraham. | And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. |
| 10 | Pago, esta locue y gachae gaegue na mapolo gui jale y trongcon jayo sija; ya todo y trongcon jayo ni ti manogcha mauleg, umautut ya umapolo gui guafe. | And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. |
| 11 | Guajo magajet jutagpange jamyo nu y janom para mina�otsot, lao y mamamaela gui tateco, mas guaja ninasi�a�a qui guajo: y sapatos�a ti mauleg yo na jupula; g�iya infantinagpange ni Espiritu Santo yan y guafe. | I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: |
| 12 | Y abanico�a gaegue gui canae�a, ya unagasgas y tabla�a, ya unaetnon y trigu�a jalom gui jalom camalin, ya usonggue y pajan trigo gui taejinecog na guafe. | Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. |
| 13 | � Anae mato si Jesus guinin Galilea, malag Jordan gui as Juan para utinagpange. | Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. |
| 14 | Lao si Juan ti malago, ileg�a: Nesesita yo matagpange pot jago, enaojao na mamaela guiya guajo? | But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? |
| 15 | Inepe as Jesus ileg�a: Diejaloja, sa taeg�enao mauleg para utacumple y todo na tininas. Ayo nae pinelo. | And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. |
| 16 | Ya si Jesus, anae munjayan matagpange, cajulo gusisija guine y janom, y langet mababa pot g�iya ya malie y Espiritun Yuus tumunog calang paluma y sumaga gui jilo�a. | And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: |
| 17 | Ya estag�e, un vos guinin y langet na ileg�a: Estag�iya y lajijo ni y guefyajo. | And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. |
