| 1 | YA mafa�ago si Jesus guiya Betlehem Judea gui jaanin ray Herodes, estag�e y manfaye na manmato guinin y sancatan para Jerusalem, | Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, |
| 2 | Yleg�ija: mangue y ray Judios, ni mafa�ago? Sa y estreyas�a inlie gui sancatan ya manmatojam para inadorag�e. | Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. |
| 3 | Ya anae jajungog este, si ray Herodes, inistotba yan todo y taotao Jerusalem locue. | When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. |
| 4 | Ya anae maagange todo y prinsipen mamale yan y escriba sija g�ije na tano, manfinaesen mano nae mafa�ago si Cristo. | And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. |
| 5 | Sija ileg�ija: Iya Betlehem Judea; sa taeg�ine y munjayan matugue pot y profeta: | And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judea: for thus it is written by the prophet, |
| 6 | Ya jago Betlehem, tano Juda, ada ti sendiquique jao gui entalo y prinsipen Juda, sa iya jago nae ujuyong y magalaje, para upasto y taotaojo, Israel. | And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. |
| 7 | Entonses si Herodes, anae jaagang y manfaye gui secreto, jaquequetungo guiya sija, ngaean y estreyas nae malie. | Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. |
| 8 | Ya Jatago sija para Betlehem, ileg�a: Janao fanmalag ayo guato ya inalula manmamaesen pot y patgon; yaguin esta inseda, insangane yo; ya jufato locue ya juadora g�e. | And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. |
| 9 | Ya anae munjayan jajungog y sinangan ray, manmapos; ya estag�e y estreyas ni y jalie gui sancatan, na mofona gui mena�ija asta qui mato ya sumaga gui anae estaba y patgon. | When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. |
| 10 | Anae malie y estreyas, gosdangculo minagof�ija. | When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. |
| 11 | � Anae manjalom gui guima, jasoda y patgon yan y nana�a, as Maria, ya mandimo ya maadora; ya mababa y g�inaja�ija ya manae g�e: oro, insenso, yan mira. | And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. |
| 12 | Ya manmasangane pot si Yuus gui g�inife, na ti ufanmalag as Herodes, manjanao para y tano�ija gui otro chalan. | And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. |
| 13 | � Ya anae manmapos sija, y angjet y Se�ot mato gui as Jos� gui g�inife, ya ileg�a: Cajulo ya uncone y patgon yan si nana�a, ya infanjanao para Egipto, ya infa�aga g�ije, asta qui guajojao sumangane; sa si Herodes jaaligao y patgon para umapuno. | And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. |
| 14 | Ya cajulo g�e, ya jacone y patgon yan si nana�a gui puenge ya manjanao para Egipto; | When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: |
| 15 | Ya sumaga g�ije asta que matae si Herodes, sa para umacumple y sinangan y Se�ot pot y profeta, na ileg�a: Iya Egipto nae, juagang y Lajijo. | And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son. |
| 16 | � Si Herodes, anae jalie na mamofea g�e ni manfaye, gueflalalo ya manago na ufanmapuno todo y famaguon ni guaja guiya Betlehem yan gui todo oriya�a ni dos a�os sacan�ija para papa, jaftaemanoja y tiempo anae ninatungo ni y manfaye. | Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men. |

| 18 | Inagang na majungog guiya Rama umagang, tumangis yan cumasao na dangculo; si Raquel cumasao pot y famaguon�a, ya ti malago maconsuela sa manaeg�e. | In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not. |
| 19 | � Anae esta matae si Herodes, mato y angjet y Se�ot gui as Jos� gui g�inife, guiya Egipto, | But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, |
| 20 | Ya ileg�a: Cajulo, cone y patgon yan si nana�a, ya infanjanao para y tano Israel; sa matae y cumequepuno y patgon. | Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life. |
| 21 | Ayo nae cajulo ya jacone y patgon yan si nana�a ya manmalag y tano Israel. | And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel. |
| 22 | Ya jajungog na si Arquelao, g�iya y ray guiya Judea gui sagan tata�a as Herodes, maa�ao malag guato; lao pot si Yuus ninatungo g�e claro gui g�inife�a, mapos malag y tanon Galilea. | But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee: |
| 23 | Ya anae mato, sumaga gui siuda na mafanaan Nasaret; para ucumple y masangan�a pot y profeta sija, na umafanaan taotao Nasaret. | And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene. |
