| 9 | Ya estag�e y angjet y se�ot tumotojgue guiya sija; y minalag Yuus jaina gui oriya�ija; ya guaja dangculo na minaa�ao. | And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. |
| 10 | Lao y angjet ileg�a nu sija: Chamiyo fanmaa�ao; sa, estag�e, na juchule para jamyo mauleg na sinangan dangculo na minagof, para todo y taotao: | And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. |

| 12 | Ya este y se�atmiyo: Inseda y patgon mabalutan ni y pa�ales, ya umaason gui cajon sacate. | And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. |
| 13 | Ya enseguidas anog yan y angjet y linajyan y sendalo gui langet, na manmantutuna as Yuus, ya ileg�ija: | And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, |
| 14 | Minalag gui y Gueftaquilo as Yuus, ya y tano pas gui entalo taotao ni y minagof�a dangculo. | Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. |
| 15 | Ya jumuyong anae y angjet sija manmamapos guiya sija para y langet, y pastot sija manasangane. uno yan otro: Nije tafanmalag pues, asta Betlehem, ya talie este na g�inaja ni esta jumuyong, na si Yuus jafanuejit. | And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. |

| 20 | Ya manato guato y pastot sija yan manmagof ya matuna si Yuus pot todo y g�inaja ni munjayan jajungog yan jalie, jaftaemano y esta jasangane sija. | And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. |
| 21 | � Ya anae esta macumple y ocho na jaane, para umasirconsida g�e mafanaan naan�a si Jesus, taeg�ije y finanaan nu y angjet antes qui umamapotgue�aejon gui tiyan nana�a. | And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. |
| 22 | Ya anae esta macumple y jaanin y guinasgas, jaftaemanoja y lay Moises, sija macone g�e guiya Jerusalem para umanae gui Se�ot. | And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord; |
| 23 | (Jaftaemanoja y matuque gui lay y Se�ot: todo laje na jababa y tiyan, umafanaan santos para y Se�ot); | (As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;) |
| 24 | Ya para umanae inefrese jaftaemanoja y masangan y lay y Se�ot, un pares na tortola pat dos patgon na paluma. | And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons. |
| 25 | Ya, estag�e, guaja un taotao guiya Jerusalem, na naan�a si Simeon, ya este na taotao, cabales ya guefmanjonggue na jananangga y quinensuela y Israel: ya y Espiritu Santo gaegue gui jilo�a. | And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. |
| 26 | Ya esta mafanue g�e nu y Espiritu Santo, na ti ulie finatae, antes na ulie Cristo, y Se�ot. | And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. |

| 30 | Sa jalie y matajo y satbasionmo, | For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, |
| 31 | Ni esta unfamauleg gui menan todo y taotao; | Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; |
| 32 | Y candit para ufanmatungo y nasion sija, yan y minalag para y taotaomo, Israel. | A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel. |
| 33 | � Ya si Jos� yan y nana�a ninafanmanman nu ayo sija y jasasangan nu g�iya; | And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him. |
| 34 | Ya jabendise si Simeon ya ileg�a ni nana�a as Maria: Estag�e na patgon esta mapolo para pinedong yan para ufanjinatsa y megae guiya Israel; yan para y se�at ni y ninachatsaga, | And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; |
| 35 | Yan y jago locue, sa y antimo na umadotgan nu y espada, ya para jinaso�ija y megae na corason nae umatungo. | (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed. |
| 36 | Gaegue locue g�ije, si Ana y profeta palaoan, jagan Fanuel gui tribun Aser (na g�iya guaja megae na jaani�a, yan sumaga yan y asagua�a siete a�os desde y binitgen�a; | And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; |
| 37 | Ya bumiuda asta ochenta y cuatro a�os) ya ti jafapos gui templo, ya jaadodora si Yuus, puenge yan jaane nu y umayuyunat yan manaenaetae. | And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. |
| 38 | Ya este mato g�ijija na ora ya janae si Yuus maase, ya jacumuentuse pot g�iya todo sija y manmannangga ni linibre guiya Jerusalem. | And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem. |
| 39 | Lao anae esta jacumple todo sija, taemanoja y gaegue gui lay y Se�ot, manalo guato Galilea gui siuda�ija guiya Nasaret. | And when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city Nazareth. |
| 40 | Ya y patgon dumangculo yan ninamatatnga ya bulag�e tiningo: ya y grasian Yuus gaegue gui jilo�a. | And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him. |
| 41 | � Ya manjajanao sija tata�a todo y sacan asta Jerusalem gui guipot y pascua. | Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. |
| 42 | Ya anae guaja esta dose na a�os, sija mangajulo guiya Jerusalem taemanoja y costumbren y guipot. | And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. |
| 43 | Ya anae jocog y jaane sija, manalo sija, ya sumaga y patgon, Jesus, guiya Jerusalem taetiningo nu y tata�a sija. | And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. |
| 44 | Ya jinaso�ija na gaegue gui mangachong�ija, ya un jaane na manjajanaoja; ya maaliligao g�e gui entalo y parientes�ija yan y manatungo�ija. | But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day’s journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. |
| 45 | Lao anae ti masoda g�e, manalo guato Jerusalem maaliligao g�e. | And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. |
| 46 | Ya susede anae esta malofan tres na jaane, inseda g�e gui templo matatachong gui entalo y manfaye maecungog yan mafafaesen. | And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. |
| 47 | Ya todo sija y jumujungog ninafanmanman ni tiningo�a yan y inepe�a. | And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. |
| 48 | Ya anae malie manmajngan ya ileg�a nu g�iya si nana�a: Patgon, jafa na unfatinasjam taeguenao? Estag�e si tatamo yan guajo na inaliligao jao yan y pinitinmame! | And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. |
| 49 | Ayo nae ileg�a nu sija: Pot jafa yo na inaliligao? Ti intingo na y checho y tatajo nesesita yo na fatinas? | And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business? |
| 50 | Lao sija ti jatungo ayo na sinangan y mansinangane. | And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. |
| 51 | Ya tumunog yan sija ya manjanao. guato Nasaret ya mansinejeta sija. Ya si nana�a jaadaje este todo sija gui coraso�a. | And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. |
| 52 | Ya si Jesus lum�lamodong gui tiningo�a yan y lineca�a yan y grasia gui as Yuus yan y taotao sija. | And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. |
