1	Gott und sein Volk Auf, wir wollen dem Herrn zujubeln! Lasst uns den Fels unserer Rettung preisen!	O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2	Wir wollen mit Dank vor sein Angesicht treten. Lasst ihn mit unseren Gesängen hochleben.	Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3	Denn der Herr ist ein großer Gott und ein großer König über alle Götter.	For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
4	In seiner Hand sind die Tiefen der Erde, und die Höhen der Berge gehören ihm.	In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
5	Ihm gehört das Meer – er selbst hat es gemacht, und das Land – seine Hände haben es geformt.	The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
6	Kommt, wir wollen uns niederwerfen und beten! Lasst uns vor dem Herrn niederknien, vor unserem Schöpfer!	O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
7	Denn er ist unser Gott und wir sind sein Volk – die Schafe, die er auf sein Weideland führt. Und wir sind es heute noch. Ach, hört doch auf seine Stimme!	For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
8	Seid nicht so starrsinnig wie in Meriba, wie in Massa, als ihr in der Wüste gewesen seid.	Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9	Damals widersetzten sich eure Vorfahren. Damals stellten sie mich auf die Probe, obwohl sie mein Tun gesehen hatten.	When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
10	40 Jahre lang war ich angewidert von dieser Generation, sodass ich sagte: »In ihren Herzen sind sie ein irregeleitetes Volk, und meine Wege haben sie nicht erkannt.	Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
11	So habe ich in meinem Zorn geschworen: Nie sollen sie zu meinem Ruheplatz kommen!«	Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
