1	Ein neues Lied für den König der Welt Singt dem Herrn ein neues Lied! Singt dem Herrn, alle Länder!	O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.
2	Singt dem Herrn, preist seinen Namen! Verkündet seine Hilfe von Tag zu Tag!	Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
3	Erzählt den Völkern von seiner Herrlichkeit, allen Nationen von seinen Wundertaten!	Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
4	Ja, groß ist der Herr und hoch zu loben. Man muss ihn mehr als alle Götter fürchten.	For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
5	Denn die Götter der Völker sind nichts. Aber der Herr hat den Himmel gemacht.	For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
6	Pracht und Schönheit gehen von ihm aus. Macht und Glanz erfüllen sein Heiligtum.	Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
7	Gebt dem Herrn die Ehre, ihr Völkerscharen! Gebt sie dem Herrn und erkennt seine Macht an!	Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
8	Gebt dem Herrn die Ehre, die seinem Namen gebührt! Bringt Opfergaben und kommt in sein Heiligtum!	Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
9	Fallt auf die Knie vor dem Herrn in heiliger Pracht! Zittert bei seinem Anblick, ihr Länder!	O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
10	Sagt den Völkern: »Der Herr herrscht als König!« Die Erde ist fest gegründet, dass sie nicht wankt. Er richtet die Nationen nach Recht und Ordnung.	Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
11	Der Himmel soll sich freuen und die Erde jauchzen. Das Meer soll brausen und alles, was in ihm lebt.	Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
12	Das Feld sei fröhlich und alles, was auf ihm wächst. Alle Bäume des Waldes sollen in Jubel ausbrechen –	Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice
13	vor dem Angesicht des Herrn, wenn er kommt. Denn er kommt, um Gericht zu halten auf der Erde. Über den Erdkreis wird er ein gerechtes Urteil fällen und die Völker nach seiner Wahrheit richten.	Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
