1	Götter stürzen EIN PSALM, VON ASAF. Gott steht in der himmlischen Versammlung. Vor ihm müssen sich die Götter verantworten:	God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
2	»Wie lange wollt ihr noch verkehrte Urteile fällen und dadurch die Frevler begünstigen? Sela.	How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3	Schafft Recht für die Geringen und Waisen, Gerechtigkeit für die Armen und Bedürftigen!	Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4	Befreit die Geringen und Wehrlosen, entreißt sie der Gewalt ihrer Unterdrücker!«	Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5	Doch sie zeigen weder Einsicht noch Verstand. Vielmehr tappen sie im Dunkeln umher und erschüttern die Fundamente der Erde.	They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6	Ich habe gesagt: Götter seid ihr doch, vom Höchsten kommt ihr alle her.	I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7	Aber jetzt müsst ihr sterben wie Menschen. Ihr werdet stürzen wie irgendein Fürst.	But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8	Steh auf, Gott, setz dein Recht durch in der Welt! Ja, du sollst die Herrschaft über alle Völker übernehmen!	Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
