1	Gott im Himmel und auf der Erde Halleluja! Lobt ihn, die ihr Dienst tut für den Herrn! Lobt fröhlich den Namen des Herrn!	Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.
2	Der Name des Herrn sei gepriesen von heute an bis in alle Zukunft!	Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore.
3	Vom Aufgang der Sonne bis zu ihrem Untergang soll man den Namen des Herrn loben!	From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.
4	Hoch über allen Völkern steht der Herr, über dem Himmel wohnt er in Herrlichkeit.	The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
5	Wer ist wie der Herr, unser Gott? Er steigt hinauf, um in der Höhe zu thronen.	Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,
6	Er beugt sich nieder, um in die Tiefe zu schauen. Einzigartig ist er im Himmel und auf der Erde!	Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
7	Den Geringen zieht er aus dem Staub, den Armen holt er aus dem Dreck.	He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
8	Er lässt ihn bei den Fürsten wohnen: ja, bei den Fürsten seines Volkes.	That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
9	Die unfruchtbare Frau lässt er im Haus wohnen: ja, als eine fröhliche Mutter von Kindern. Halleluja!	He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.
