| 1 | Dá ouvidos ás minhas palavras, ó Senhor, entende a minha meditação. | Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation. |
| 2 | Attende á voz do meu clamor, Rei meu e Deus meu, pois a ti orarei. | Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. |
| 3 | Pela manhã ouvirás a minha voz, ó Senhor; pela manhã me apresentarei a ti, e vigiarei. | My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. |
| 4 | Porque tu não és um Deus que tenha prazer na iniquidade, nem comtigo habitará o mal. | For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. |
| 5 | Os loucos não pararão á tua vista; aborreces a todos os que obram a maldade. | The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. |
| 6 | Destruirás aquelles que fallam a mentira; o Senhor aborrecerá o homem sanguinario e fraudulento. | Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. |
| 7 | Porém eu entrarei em tua casa pela grandeza de tua benignidade; e em teu temor me inclinarei para o teu sancto templo. | But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple. |
| 8 | Senhor, guia-me na tua justiça, por causa dos meus inimigos: endireita diante de mim o teu caminho. | Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face. |
| 9 | Porque não ha rectidão na bocca d'elles: as suas entranhas são verdadeiras maldades, a sua garganta é um sepulchro aberto; lisongeam com a sua lingua. | For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue. |
| 10 | Declara-os culpados, ó Deus: caiam por seus proprios conselhos; lança-os fóra por causa da multidão de suas transgressões, pois se rebellaram contra ti. | Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee. |
| 11 | Porém alegrem-se todos os que confiam em ti; exultem eternamente, porquanto tu os defendes; e em ti se gloriem os que amam o teu nome. | But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. |
| 12 | Pois tu, Senhor, abençoarás ao justo; coroal-o-has com a tua benevolencia, como de um escudo. | For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. |
